Celtics missed a bunch of threes. And the Mitch hacking was very amateurish. Why was he getting Shaq treatment lol?

I just feel Knicks played like 99% of their potential while Celtics made giant mistakes that can be easily fixed.

The Celtics' entire offense is dependent on 3 pointers.

The Knicks didn't play close to 99% with their second best player in KAT being in foul trouble.

Mitch shot 68% from the line during the regular season

eventually he is going to make them!

McBride was such a bright spot tonight man.. loved how he came out confident!

We need to monitor the foul count on when we put in Mitch if they’re gonna pull that weak sh**.

I was worried overtime we would just let Brunson go 1on1, but we had more action on the screens. Loved that we weren’t all just standing around (for the most part).

KAT keeps his hands out of the cookie jar on defense and live with them taking contested step backs and catch the ball in spots that he wants to, not 26 feet away from the rim.

I had surgery this morning on my cheek (removed a cyst, all good they said) and about tore the stitching yelling haha

BOS wont shoot this bad either...but I did think we made a lot of there shots tough.

Tatum/Brown/White were a combined 10/41 from 3...yikes

Celtics are where the Knicks were in 2013 against the Pacers

In 2013, Pacers won Games 1, 3, 4, and 6
Knicks blew the Pacers out in Game 2 and won by 10 points in Game 5
Knicks weren't able to steal any games in Indiana

so basically, if the Knicks protect homecourt the rest of the way, they can win the series

Knicks couldn't protect home court against the Pistons so I don't like their chances BUT THEY WON TONIGHT SO F*CK IT WE CAN DO IT!!

Jay10 wrote:After i saw the Knicks beat the Hawks in the regular season 3-1, and then the Hawks beating the Knicks in the playoffs, I never put any value into those matchups until it happens in the playoffs.

Too many things happen in the regular season to put much value in it, if those same teams meet up again the playoffs.

The difference throughout the regular season with the Celtics was always the amount of 3 pointers they made and nothing else, and they missed their most important player in Kristaps when it comes to the 3 pointers.

I have to agree Knicks played childish defense all season. Turned it on in the playoffs and showing ability to turn it in on in the clutch. I want to see more consistency but the signs are there.

True, but fck them. Kat and Brunson aren't going to play that bad again. And I trust them to bounce back and for OG and mikal to make life hell for Tatum and Brown.

Frank Isola coming back like Frank Castle

His Sirrius show with Scalabrine is top notch.

Made me go from an Isola hater to admirer

He’s lowkey been great since leaving the beat work. I’ve loved him on PTI over the years.

Generally hated he and Berman’s beat work but recognize it was the kayfabe of the day.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Foul trouble?

KAT sucked and easily non existent in the 4th and OT. I think he grabbed 1 rebound during both quarters with 0 points.

Bridges…gotta give it to him. That steal was almost worth 5 firsts. Almost.

Great unexpected comeback win. Let’s hope we keep the momentum.

I don’t really have anything to say but I’m too damn amped and all my normal friends have stopped texting about it. Holy f*ck that was great.

Any one else starting to forget when they didn’t have white hair? This f*cking team.
