"Can't you hear, can't you hear the Thunder?
You better run, you better take cover"

First home team to win, I am calling it at half time. That team is scary! :pityfool:

Wild that dario saric is unused/failed. Apart of the jimmy trade w Rcovington.. once considered to have potential.

If people are worried about Ant/others being overconfident as the "favorites", today should be a good reality check for the team.

Well that was six years ago....but yeah, he really only had one more good year after his time here.

Jokic should have just taken all the shots down the wire, I would trust him a lot more to find a way to score than a wide open Westbrook.Nuggets had their chance..

Love to see DEN steal one even though I call it at half time.

Funny that even missing 45 they still hit twice as many as us. We were 7/47 they were 15/60.

Denver steals game 1. OKC terrible in the foul game and not using the end of game clock properly.

Ok now it’s time for the home team to finally take care of business in game one.

We were one of only two road teams to win game 1 of the first round. We have experience bucking the trend. Time to do it again tomorrow.

Almost everyone thought Boston and OKC will win game 1 . Nothing is granted at this stage . Tomorrow will be huge. Go wolves!

Tore his ACL in the 2021 NBA Finals, then had to have meniscus surgery less than a year later, prior to even touching the court again. Denver tried to give him minutes at the beginning of this season, but it was pretty clear that his body can't hold up to NBA basketball after those injuries.

He got minutes in Golden State last season, but it wasn't a pretty watch, in all honesty.

That SGA dunk was such poor judgment. They gave it to you for a reason. If he just runs 6 seconds off the clock the game is likely over. That was a terrible breakdown by OKC, and I love it for Denver and for us. A WCF rubber match with Denver would be Legendary. If we won that series and a chip that is kind of thing that gets talked about forever.

It is extremely unlikely, but a NYK vs MIN Finals match-up isn't out of the question!

OKC- Nuggets game show how experience is important. OKC make a terrible jobs at clutch time. GSW got plenty of experience but we have also some . 4 years at PO in a row.

I had honestly forgotten about both of those injuries.

Postseason experience matters when the talent gap isn't as large.

I've felt pretty good about the odds of having a Wolves/Nuggets WCF matchup for a while, honestly. But while I like the potential matchup, I would say that Denver is better equipped this year with a confident Gordon and confident Westbrook.

I disagree on a couple of fronts.

1. I think Denver with a starting Braun, an injured MPJ, and Westbrook, is less capable than the Denver that we played in round 2 last year.

2. I am not sure they are confident against us. I believe that regular season doesn’t matter that much come playoff time, but I do wonder if we are in the Nuggets heads. I think a good way to phrase it is, “after all that, now we gotta play them!”
