The fact that Gordon attempted 3 when they only needed 2 with 5 seconds to go it’s crazy , balls of steel

Imagine if he missed that 90% of this board would’ve call him choke artist

he saw that WB and Braun were basically 2 on 1 vs. Chet inside, knew there was a decent chance for an offensive rebound and he ran to spot up in his favorite spot, he's made countless of those this season including in the crunch

I don't think he made the right decision spotting up tho, he said in the post-game interview the paint was "clogged" but idk about that. WB was near the paint and Chet was the only OKC player in the paint (or even near it), idk if i'd call that "clogged".

SGA was the only one who could score down the stretch

And keeping the ball in SGA's hand is the right call. He's a 90% ft shooter who almost always makes the optimal decision. Watching it live I didn't see an issue with the way he played down the stretch.

There was a halftime section where OKC's coach was interviewed talking about the intellectual side of the game, how they teach their players to think like how opponents play.

Not all modern ways are best... Nuggs had no timeout and OKC stopped the clock for them in fouling to prevent a 3 shot that ended up going in anyway. Amazing.

You have to root for Westbrook to be a champion. It’ll bring tears to your eyes.

It was one of the most idiotic decisions of the night. All that fouling up 3 without trying to run down the clock more was baffling.

This was a tired Nugs on OKC's home floor in game one, and that was how they executed down the stretch. If they lose the series its on the coach at this point. Free game 1.

G1 was the easy one. DEN coming in with confidence after blowing out LAC in G7 but two days between they had no business winning this. This should've been a statement by OKC but they got manhandled

My guess is players are so programmed to shoot the 3 there he did it on instant.

Man that was like watching a plane crash in slowmo. Some of us turning our heads being like "why are the pilots doing that"? OKC fans were on that plane though, that's brutal

OKC ain't winning crap until they rightfully give back the team to seattle. Until then it's round 2 flameouts.

Sga didnt play well at all. Put up decent stats but actual on court impact was not as good as his gaudy stats showed.

Denver needs to hire David Adelman.
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

Yes I thought about it wasn’t a good decision for so many reasons , you definitely have valid points , luckily work out for Westbrook the passer , the shooter and Denver in general so kudos to them all

It kind of annoys me though these top teams aren't putting everything out there for this game 1, they still have to beat these teams, they aren't Miami, Memphis or Orlando but they're treating it as they are.

For me, this is the most stupid part...why the heck are you fouling when they are so far away from the basket ??

Makes you wonder if its Malone does he stick with Porter even if he's struggling?

Malone was notorious for sticking with "his" guys to the bitter end. He would ride MPJ until he loses both arms and legs.
