he saw that WB and Braun were basically 2 on 1 vs. Chet inside, knew there was a decent chance for an offensive rebound and he ran to spot up in his favorite spot, he's made countless of those this season including in the crunch

I don't think he made the right decision spotting up tho, he said in the post-game interview the paint was "clogged" but idk about that. WB was near the paint and Chet was the only OKC player in the paint (or even near it), idk if i'd call that "clogged".

Part of what started the OKC choke was that SGA started to shot jack trying to pad his stats. Big mistake.

SGA was the only one who could score down the stretch

And keeping the ball in SGA's hand is the right call. He's a 90% ft shooter who almost always makes the optimal decision. Watching it live I didn't see an issue with the way he played down the stretch.

There was a halftime section where OKC's coach was interviewed talking about the intellectual side of the game, how they teach their players to think like how opponents play.

Not all modern ways are best... Nuggs had no timeout and OKC stopped the clock for them in fouling to prevent a 3 shot that ended up going in anyway. Amazing.

Worst part about the intentional foul on Gordon was that it allowed Jokic to check in. Idiots should have literally let them try to score without their best player on the floor. **** like that is just inexcusable at this stage of the playoffs. They deserve to lose.

This was a tired Nugs on OKC's home floor in game one, and that was how they executed down the stretch. If they lose the series its on the coach at this point. Free game 1.

G1 was the easy one. DEN coming in with confidence after blowing out LAC in G7 but two days between they had no business winning this. This should've been a statement by OKC but they got manhandled

Yes I thought about it wasn’t a good decision for so many reasons , you definitely have valid points , luckily work out for Westbrook the passer , the shooter and Denver in general so kudos to them all

Props to Adelman for benching Porter and going with Westbrook late. Russell makes the bonehead play every once in a while but I'll take his effort late in the game over MPJ's every day.

Malone was notorious for sticking with "his" guys to the bitter end. He would ride MPJ until he loses both arms and legs.
