Just how much money did Skip lose betting on OKC LOL

His career may get resurrected if ESPN is forced to fire Shannon.

Now we’re just saying stuff.

 Chet is a bust and OKC head coach has lost his locker room, all because Denver pulled off a miraculous comeback. OH, RealGM.

Jokic really is the destroyer of all worlds.

I am still waiting on someone to say "get ready to learn chinese buddy"

Can someone explain to me why the regular season SRS stats didn't count as extra points for OKC end of the game? And I thought the Vegas line would be added on top as well? Something shady going on

Idk if those numbers are correct, I’m pretty sure Jokic hit the back of the rim on those two three attempts towards the end

Game 1 can be a bit weird sometimes, but I didn't see both Boston and OKC losing at home coming.

Jokic is just thrilled that there's no more Zubac to deal with

Nuggets just sucker punched them out of the gate. Chet might be mentally finished after THAT finish and Caruso likely doesn't shoot like that again.

I had Nuggets in 6 but now I say Nuggets in 5

OKC's first round matchup was too easy. They just faced adversity today and wilted under pressure. The Nuggets are former champs and way too battle tested, just played a Game 7 a few days ago so when the game was close, the advantage was theirs.

Think Grizzlies definitely would have extended the series if Ja didn't get hurt...they were up like 25 pts in G3 when Ja got hurt...in G4, despite not having Ja, Grizz still fought until last minute..it was a close game.

This level of dominance by Jokić i only saw twice in my life:
2001 Shaq, when rest of a league could just pray he misses enough FTs to give them a chance
1993 Jordan

That's it.

All the gimmicks that OKC did vs Memphis like sending Caruso on Jaren Jackson, or sending guards to pressure big with ball simply don't work against him. Guy is in league of his own. Even if they lose, that guy by far best player in the world, MVP and one of most skilled offensive players ever.

Mamba Mentality wrote:Chet really god bodied tonight. Got dominated on the glass, got postered by Gordon, missed a crucial breakaway dunk in the 4th quarter, and then topped it all off by missing two crucial free throws. Hopefully he can bounce back and doesn’t let this turn him into a mental midget the rest of the series.

We’ll see, youth def showed tonight, but I’ll defend him on that “dunk*” as Gordon clearly clears him out with the off arm.

Of course Chet is a twig so getting cleared out with the off arm is even easier than most bigs.

(*more a hard throw into the basket …I’m personally against classifying anything as a dunk when the guys hand doesn’t put it through the hoop).

AlexanderRight wrote:Will never understand the logic of purposely fouling while you're up in any point of any game. It's literally giving points to the other team and sends a horrible message to yours. If you can't trust your team to get a stop to seal the win then you've already lost.

It can be a really powerful strategy when the team has it in the frontcourt, but they’re out of timeouts and you want to force them to take it in the backcourt next time. But when they’re already in the backcourt? You can’t just foul the second they pass it in! That’s fundamental idiocy.

Or Denver would have been if Malone didn't run his players into the ground.

I don’t think the old MVP hands it to the new one
