for a team not built to beat Boston, they just beat them in a road playoff game and also in the last game of the regular season we had that chit won too if OG doesn’t give up that tying 3 at the end and that was before Brunson even got back to 100%. And these are the champs

Surely the narrative that we aren’t on the same stratosphere as this team and have no chance to even compete with them and aren’t on the level with any good team has to have some cracks forming

Idk if we will win another game or not but I’m convinced the Knicks aren’t nearly as bad as you and others have tried to claim all year period point blank change my mind

I mean we were down 20 and maybe the Celtics just stopped trying. Let’s see if they can make this a series. But it was a great win, hopefully they can keep it up and prove me wrong

KAT - 36.9 mpg

Mitch - 17.1 mpg

The team is strikingly similar to the '05 and '06 Phoenix Suns. Both made the WCF

i don't. it's the playoffs. they're in agony. and they're gully.

Whats bullcht is that there prolly isnt a fall off from kp to horford. Only good thing thing is horford is old and needs a spell. He was locking up kat and giving Brunson fits. Hopefully the extra mins take their toll and he falls off as the series progresses.

I'm glad he's getting up there. Horford is a wily SOB.

Even if that was true and maybe they nodded off at the wheel when they went up 20 you’d think going into overtime might be a warning sign they should flip the switch and start trying again

Besides 20 is nothing in the modern nba, if that’s their mentality they have some problems

I’d say the consensus opinion is clearly that as the champions the Celtics are still better team and will bounce back and win the series but I don’t see the Knicks rolling over and dying without a fight either these guys have too much pride. Win or lose just fight that’s all I can ask

I’m not saying don’t forgive him I’m a mature person but I’m just saying If the city decides to look back into the allegations and arrest him before game 3 to throw him off I wouldn’t even be mad

They only went up 20 because of that cagey BS they pulled by baiting kat and sending Mitch to the line. Then they hit a few 3s. We were right there otherwise and always save some gas for our run. That wasn't a fluke.

In the first half he looked like he couldn’t do anything. He had to get pulled (rightfully so) because of this and the hack a Mitch.

We will need to be strategic with how we use him with his clear faults and apparent drop in athleticism, but he can still be very useful in the right situations

I was mean to Mitch in the GT.

I called him Assquatch

He's been pretty awful

I hope he turns the corner during this series

Future Knick needs:

Some guy 6'7 or taller who can play defense and hit some 3's to give the Knicks a different look than Hart. Could be starter, could be bench
A center who plays like Mitch used to on defense, can hit a 10 foot jumper or jump hook.
A backup PG who can play PG.

These might come from internal development, but they might need to get a stop gap vet or two until then or if that doesn't happen
