they'll respond to it in game 2. but they got out-you-know-whatted last night.

We could plan on that but if towns gets in foul trouble it can throw the plan off. Precious might end up playing again at some point and hopefully it’s not as disastrous as you’d expect next time

Let Precious play regardless. I think his hustle will pay off.

KAT has got to be smarter tho. Hands up and do not lean into anyone. I don't care if someone makes a lay up, we need him on the floor.

The reason Precious doesn't play is because he hasn't proven to be effective in short spurts. The guy needs like 20+ mins to find his rhythm in a game, but is usually a disaster with only 5 mins.

He can help in the switch scheme defense, but he needs to prove he can lock in immediately, because he takes a lot off the table otherwise.

Wasn't KP having issues when he was here with his breathing or suffered from chronic fatigue?

I feel like dude is kinda sickly. This viral issue he's been dealing with has been going on since March.

damn. sounds serious. hope he doesn't have COPD or sarcoidosis or something. they're being cagey and it makes me wonder about dude just on a human level.

i also saw him get his head split to the white meat and then hook off on the magic. i know this is just the beginning.

This is what I was saying yesterday pre game.

If they want to jack up contested threes, go for it. I'm not blitzing Tatum and leaving anyone open.

If that means we give up a layup here and there, I don't care. Make them work for their food.

They didn't, but I also wonder if they start moving their offense towards the basket, if they play more into what we want.

The truth is that KP is the x-factor for that offense. If he's out, they go from perfect to simply elite.

Not surprising but reading so many posts, who want to give thibs some credit for last night although he was excellent and instead of enjoying it, have
To add they can’t see thibs maintaining his level of excellence. It’s mind boggling

I appreciate you fam. You and raja helped get my mind right yesterday. I was kicking bricks out of the patio leading up to this series!! As ugly as that win was, I'm back in it with my team!! I went in rooting and I didn't quit down 20. I was almost ready to call it a night with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. I couldn't let my Celtics fan nephew see me give up!! All grit no quit!! Looks like the ECF is back on the menu boys!! Let's eat!!

family.

also, your frustrations and opinions matter. they shouldn't be diminished. we all process this **** in our own ways.

some of this is comedy. but some of it is some real life **** we all go through as knick fans. when we get our parade i'm not gon be worrying about whose take was this or that.

that's to say, if you experience normal human emotion and crash out, i'm not gonna give you a hard time about it. i know pain too.

but for now, we pointing at the leprechaun.

Celtics are where the Knicks were in 2013 against the Pacers

In 2013, Pacers won Games 1, 3, 4, and 6
Knicks blew the Pacers out in Game 2 and won by 10 points in Game 5
Knicks weren't able to steal any games in Indiana

so basically, if the Knicks protect homecourt the rest of the way, they can win the series

Knicks couldn't protect home court against the Pistons so I don't like their chances BUT THEY WON TONIGHT SO F*CK IT WE CAN DO IT!!

I think the Knicks will treat Boston very differently.
If Boston is going to win they will have to earn it. Last two games vs the knicks went to OT.

We are due at the garden. I’m focused on game 2.

We also can't have Precious/Hart/Mitch on the floor together. Precious should be next to KAT not in place of him. Payne/Hart/Precious also doesn't bode well on offense. Two non shooters and a streaky/ugly shooter. Paynes whack ass form and the time it takes to shoot it is a little slow. Teams aren't scared of him but, once in a while the sun shines on a dogs ****.
