They passed him a grenade with 4 seconds on the clock, what are we doing here? Not only that, if Tatum had the same drive they're calling a foul, because Horford has his hand on KATs back.

Image

He was 6-12 from 2 in that game too.

Grenade? He had plenty of time

Here’s another example. How are you letting Derrick white block you? Dude tried to go for a finesse layup on a smaller player. This is exactly what nba coaches are saying about him.

We've reached a point now, where we're ignoring fouls on Knicks players to push "soft" agendas after a win. Truly the darkest of timelines, we used to be a society.

Could be gassing up Brunson, or og, or mikal's defense, or deuce giving us good bench mins, or if he wants to complain the 3rd foul on kat was susspect but instead he wants to call kat softand post horford highlights.

We need you, like the Cs need Tatum, to be better meLo.

I could see criticizing the dumb fouls, he only had 1 last night that was really questionable, the others were just dumb. But, calling him soft in the playoffs when the numbers say he's been extremely effective there despite dealing with weakside defenders coming to help is crazy. Matter of fact, he's at 1.00 ppp in the post for the playoffs, Embiid was at 1.02ppp last year, 1.05ppp and .96ppp in the previous 2 playoffs. The difference is, KAT doesn't have that generational whistle for whatever reason, he doesn't get to the line despite being clobbered.

On similar frequencies, Embiid has been between 19-25% of his playcalls in the post those 3 seasons, KAT is at 20% this season. Is it pretty? No, but KAT has been effective in the post.

He got the ball at the 3 point line with 5 seconds left on the clock, and you're excusing a foul by Horford, honestly crazy.

Maybe if kat flopped or exaggerated contact more he would get a better whistle. But yeah, outside of the foolish fouls and questionable shot selection at times Ive been fine with kat. I honestly think his defense has been better in these playoffs too. Either way the soft label doesn't fit.

But you know who is getting called soft

It does feel like he’s become the favorite son on here where his lapses are excused away. Even over Jalen which is crazy. It’s Jalens fault when he’s passive on offense, it’s Thibs fault when he’s bad on defense. It’s similar to how people treated RJ. Maybe everybody just hates Melo. lol

Tatum looked like he wasn't ready for the physicality of OG, he's not used to playing against people with muscles, unless we're talking about all the times Jimmy beat him.

Its all a distraction to get the focus off his boy Tatum getting clamped up by OG! It all makes sense now. Horrible unchecked behavior. We need to get him some help.

he and mikal are two sides of the new toy syndrome. kat has delivered enough to keep fans relatively honeymoon'd. mikal's under-delivered most of the year and struck up insane buyer's remorse. over time we will all get to know them inside and out and get to that long term relationship territory we've gotten to with brunson

You've lost your base by spending years calling people Homers, being team villain and unashamed Celtics lover on the side. The Tatum love is nasty work, the excusing Celtic fouls is even nastier. I am the people's choice.
