Hope we get some great games. Let's go.

Adams just played big and impactful minutes against the Warriors and he is less mobile, less of a rim protector and not as good of a rebounder as Gobert. Can you explain how Gobert can't be played yet Adams was one of the Rockets best players in the series?

I hope he tries to mess with Ant or Randle. He won't because he knows he would get whooped. In game 4 or 5...whichever game the GSW get eliminated...he will get ejected so he doesn't have to stick around.

Definitely Gobert. He’s the only soft one out of that bunch and Draymond knows the other two would try to square up with him.

Plus most of Draymond’s altercations have been with Euro bigs.

This is a really interesting breakdown of the Curry matchup from last season. I know both teams have had personnel changes, but I expect this matchup to be the same for most of the series.

I would bet on Rudy.

Draymond is two flagrants or three technicals away from a suspension. It wouldn't be a terrible idea for the Wolves to try to bait him into one, imo.

Just beating them will be enough to bait him into a suspension.

Good point.

Houston was 22nd in the NBA in 3-pointers made this season. Minnesota was 5th. Golden State was 4th.
Houston was 21st in the NBA in 3-point percentage this season. Minnesota was 4th. Golden State was 15th.

Then Rockets were shooting 37% on 3s in the first round, Warriors 36%, Lakers 35%, Wolves 32%.

Is there else anything you can tell from these numbers? each match up is different

Rockets made 74 3s in 7 games. GSW made 108(15.4 per game).
Lakers made 68 in 5 games(13.6 a game). Wolves made 60.

Wolves made 3 threes less per game than in the regular season, despite being wide open on a majority of the attempts. Especially the closeout game 5, where they missed 40(which was a record before Boston upped that last night).

It was Adams offensive rebounding and the Rockets Amoeba like zone that was the issue. It took us awhile to figure out what they were trying to do in their zone for us to break it, which led to Buddy's game 7 explosion and the Rockets basically scraping the 2 big lineups down the stretch.

Dude was not a problem at all, don't put him in the same sentence as Ant.

Ok, could you also address the elephant in the room?

Luka isn’t playing in this series, there’s no point in spending more time talking about him.

Yes, that is a very clever answer  Or turn the chair around and the elephant disappears.

I'm very torn on this series. I trust the warriors pedigee more but i do think its a bad physical matchup for them with Minnesotas size. I'd slight lean warriors in 6 but could definitely go either way.

It would be low-key embarrassing for the wolves to lose the series!

My Warriors are old and tired.

I like Minnesota in 7. I'd feel better about that if they had a 9-man rotation rather than 8. The Warriors seem deeper, although their depth may not be the most talented.

Because it was all early in the season when the team was adjusting to life after a massive trade on the eve of training camp.
