Who said he can't drive to the rim?
I said he doesn't have a bag and a handle that is good enough to generate consistent half court offense...which he doesn't and he proves it over and over again by floating around on the perimeter and being passive.
Like, I get it.
The Pacers aren't contenders and making the playoffs and watching your pseudo-star do cool stuff like hit game winning shots is fun....
But there's nothing to gloat about when the opposing star drops 40 plus and almost tied the series up because your pseudo-star is too busy standing around on the perimeter, completely out of the game.
Then the last minute comes along and he starts trying and actually does something when he could've done something the other 47 minutes but he's passive and generally uninterested if things aren't going his way.
