Maybe everyone is underestimating that Houston team. They were tough.

Houston's defense was on another level than the Wolves just played.

Very well coached.

Truly a joy to watch and wouldn't be surprised if they can get by Wolves without Curry.

That motion offense is beautiful.

The defense was great but Minnesota missed a million open threes tonight. GS did a good job of speeding them up but Wolves also just missed a lot.

Their offense was not beautiful tonight. They got some really nice relocation threes for Buddy Hield. Golden State got 6 3-pointers from Draymond and GP2. Those two only hit 14 the entire last series.

This game was just silly and insane. A win's a win, so congrats to the Warriors. Always huge to steal game 1.

Mind you the NBA and its rigid playoff schedule is partly to blame, the Dubs only had one day of rest between game 7 of the Rockets series and tonight.

You do realize the Warriors had the best schedule out of any playoff team right, go check their schedule game 1 and 2. lol

That is bs. Everyone has similar schedule. If you get more days between games early in the round you will not see much rest later. And vice versa.

Give us more than this then:
“Warriors weren't that great tonight but the Wolves were embarrassing!”. Amazing analysis, what a take, hard pressing engagement.
Scroll and move on then instead of crying and quoting the entire thread again? Cmon lmao

So I take it Minnesota just sucks at shooting. Because it’s been rough watching them in the playoffs so far

Now you know what I was talking about youngster :D

Well the Wolves cut it to single digits with a lot of time earlier. Warriors just responded properly. Without Steph next game it's almost a guarantee Wolves tie this series.

Not necessarily, the Dubs still have a secret weapon in reserve: the legend Pat Spencer.

And the fans and contenders and general product suffers cause so many good players are hurt in the playoffs cause of injuries.

Injuries ruined the Knicks title hopes last season ans it looks like it may screw The Cavs over this season.

This is a damn fine win by The Dubs losing Steph after 1 quarter and hardly any rest after a 7 game series. Much respect to them

What's the solution here? Play every four days? I mean, Garland has been out with a toe injury for almost two weeks. How do you prevent injuries or guys being unable to take a steroid shot and go?

You don't need to make drastic changes. But Warriors finishing game 7 in Houston and having to play 48 hours in another city, add a day there for the team. We don't want them to finish the playoffs in August, just add some tweaks.

Yes, age is a factor too

You see some older players on the list coming back after a few days

Warriors also have Buddy Hield so they don't need to rush Steph back.

They already stretch the first round an interminable amount compared to how it used to be. How much longer do they need to space out games?

I am in favour of the first round reverting back to a best of 5 series tbh.

MRI will tell us more tomorrow. If curry doesn't come back, wolves will just look at this game as a bad dream, but if he does they are in trouble and they missed a huge opportunity tonight

Nickell Alexander-Walker is showing to be quite the playoff dropper. Numbers pretty much down across the board and he's not really playing his intense defense either. If this continues, I wonder how long Finch sticks with him and whether or not he's going to give Jaylen Clark or Terrance Shannon, some real minutes.

This season has been flat out weird.

It used to be worse. It used to be that you can finish a round in 6 and have to play the next round after 1.5 days, a Sunday day game 2 days after finishing a series in 6 on a night game, not 7.
