The problem with that is Joe is Brad's boy.

If Joe goes, Brad goes with him.

The context of that is Joe is the only fruit that fell from the Brad Stevens coaching tree.

When Udoka was removed as coach, there were more qualified veteran head coaches out there than Joe.

So why did Brad pick Joe?

Because Brad knows if Joe wins a championship, that would validate the Brad Stevens brand of basketball.

From shooting 3s to switch everything defense, that's Joe using Brad's system.

So unless the Celtics miss the playoffs or exit in the 1st round, Joe is harder to remove, especially if Brad is still calling the shots.

Well, that is unfortunate. Guess 1 championship is good enough.

Joe will get 2.

We'll just have to wait for it.

Maybe somewhere between 2027 to 2032.

But who knows, maybe Joe gets his 2nd ring this June.

Game 2 is a laugher, C's won by 32 and it was never close. Raising even more speculation as to how they could possibly have had such an aberration in game 1.

can't afford to throw away games in the playoffs, kind of sad that we put ourselves in this position... That being said it did soften the blow a bit watching the Top 3 teams in the playoffs drop their first game. Wake up and I don't want to see anyone out due to illness!? Jordan played through the flu etc, it's gut check time man!

A big part of the problem is KP. He is supposed to be the safety valve in those instances when the Jays don't have it but not only has he not been, but made the team worse on both ends.

KP’s def disappointed this playoff run, hopefully he turns it around sooner then later! If not the off-season will be very interesting

Watching First Take. Windy said that he can’t believe the Celtics chucked and chucked and chucked some more this game. Missed 45 3pt shots. Joe and The Jays, particularly JT should be ashamed. JT 0/7 in the 4th quarter. Embarrassing. He played soft and settled a lot. I’m sick of all his dribble dribble, when we all know he would just chuck a step back 3. Attack the rim damn it softie! Still pissed!

Windy called out JT for playing SOFT. He was particular when JT was defended by Brunson multiple times, and not once he attacked him, back him up. He bailed brunsons defense by taking Step back 3’s non stop. Maybe Steve Kerr was right. How can you play that guy in the olympics, when all he does is chuck 3’s and brick them most of the time. JT needs a good slap in the face. He needs to wake up.
