I'd be so down for that. Would like to keep Dort if possible. Send em 10 picks just get it done lol.

You’d have to include Chet or Jalen otherwise they’ll take a Rockets package

You're right. But we can dream lol. I don't know what the Rockets pick situation looks like.

Houston 30%, OKC 25%, Cavs 20%, Detroit 5%, Orlando 5%, rest of the teams 15%. Something like that.

The new CBA is not friendly to these types of trades. You have to have a ton of extra assets or enough good players and some assets left you can trade for him.

If OKC doesn’t win this year……they are the top team. They could trade 2-3 damn good players and less assets and make it happen.

I can really see OKC doing it if they lose. Presti won't sit around with this roster with the war chest of assets that he has. He has a dynasty in the making on paper. Getting Giannis would be an absolute game changer for them and it wouldn't really milk their assets either. It's very much like an LA Dodgers situation with OKC. Embarrassment of riches.

OldSchoolNoBull wrote:You all keep saying OKC/CLE. The phrase "if it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind. They've got great things going - they could potentially win the championship this season - and they shouldn't mess their chemistry up. Also, Giannis should want to avoid the appearance of joining a team that's already at contender status a la KD/Warriors. Same goes for Boston.

The difference here is that the Giannis to OKC trade will most likely be done to take down a dynasty (Boston). In that case, it will be like KD going to Cleveland in 2017 if Bron lost

How could they make the money work?

Sheppard, Jabari Smith, Whitmore and Landale (or Jalen Green if the Bucks see something good in him) for Giannis works money wise. Plus multiple firsts. Whether the Bucks want that or would insist on one of Amen or Sengun in the trade, I don't know.

Knicks really gonna make Boston go after Giannis. Don't let us down Thibs.

Jokic too. Denver gets eliminated and he likely becomes available. Major shake up of historic proportion could be coming this Summer.

Bucks will 100% ask for Amen or Sengun. I don't think a trade for Giannis would work without Sengun being the centerpiece of the package. I think they would hang up on us if we called them and offered a package where the headliner is Jalen Green.

Brown about 15 months younger and is an All Star.

Not sure how the Celtics adjust their line up given their 3 point bomb style but Giannis is so damn good they'd make it work.

Celtics are one of the few teams that Giannis would be a fit on. It's almost mandatory that he's on the floor with 4 three point threats. He would help any team but not as much as they think if they don't have a Giannis ready lineup.

Celtics would need to add a bunch of picks unless it's Tatum.

Yeah, they probably want stronger players back (right now, not the hope that sheppard could be good three years from now) because they don't control their own picks and being bad doesn't make sense to them. Unless they trade with Portland or New Orleans who have their picks and swaps.

OKC has many 1sts, but it's no bonafide sure fire top 10 picks coming there way... Don't see the Bucks giving up Giannis w/o Chet involved.

what could the Clippers offer?

Powell, Bogdanovic, Jones + Future Picks would work. Or Zubac, Powell, Bogdanovic?

If HOU doesn’t include Thompson and OKC doesnt include Holmgren or Williams and GA demands a trade, MIL will still have to trade him.

Presti sitting on his hands and picks and not adding a big, was simply a potential waste of a season. After this year they get no more cheap player cap advantage. He has pissed away the last two years if they don't win now. Somewhat like Ainge did. Not sure why that situation makes GMs get stingy.

I would say Houston or OKC have the best shot at landing Giannis. They have the most assets to acquire Giannis if they want him.

Denver just becomes the new Milwaukee with a Jokic for Giannis trade, they have no reason to do that trade. Okc probably the only team that could trade for Jokic, Chet + j-dub + iHart + picks should work
