More than football reasons of course but he's 35, had his worst FG% of his career and ranked 30th.

The Steelers giving up a 2nd for DK and then flipping Pickens for a 3rd is good business. No idea what Dallas is doing here

Pickens can be good, but isn't he often a headcase, even during games?

I'd probably take a pick for him :dontknow: It would suck to lose your best hands, but last year of deal, injuries and new receivers in the mix, would make some sense.

Say the Packers could trade Doubs for a 5th round pick, would you rather do that or let him play out his contract in green bay and let him walk in free agency? Likely compensation pick for him will be a 5th or 6th rounder.

It's a tossup for me. You'd be keeping a guy around that can be a stable force in the offense, but one more knock to the head and he's likely donezo and we don't recoup a comp pick if another team doesn't sign him or he has to medically retire. Plus, the off-field stuff with him last year/quitting on the team and him wanting a new deal this offseason, could make some sense to move off him sooner than later and ensure you get something back.

If i can get a 5th for him I do it but I'd understand someone just wanting to keep him for the year at that rate

A 4th however?...... Bye Romeo.

And let's be honest. If Rodgers wants him we're getting a 4th

Trading Doubs as a favor to Rogers is an interesting idea, but does Aaron even have that kind of clout anymore? PackerJets didn't exactly light it up, so I'd guess Tomlin would want to rein in that sort of thinking

Well, to be fair, Doubs is a good and young player, it's not like Cobb or whatever.
