There are some.

Yeah melo there are some folks (not you) taking ish into the no go zone, Cap is right. I call Karl "zesty" because he is, and there's nothing wrong with it. I like people who are themselves and not fake ass tough guys. We already know Karl will get his hands dirty in a game if dudes start BS.

The ppl taking ish into the homophobia realm may wanna go Google who Karl's gf is and take a few seats. And...even if Karl wasn't dating a woman...WHO CARES.

Also. If we win tonight, I'll need to start writing an apology letter to Tom

yeah if there are really people doing that homophobic sht they need to gtfo. There is no place for that here.

If the Knicks win tonight I’m ready to call this team a championship contender and be a complete homer

every quasi-religious action i've taken today since waking up - 6AM gym, laundry, cooking, mopping my floors - has been in an effort to secure the W tonight

Fun fact: Karl went to St. Joseph's High School in Metuchen, my former grade school basketball teammate Jay Williams went there. That was the best player I've ever played alongside in my life. We knew from 5th grade that dude was gonna be a pro.

Karl's family is well known around these parts, which is why it was devastating when his mom and others died during the pandemic.

Karl is not soft yall. Dude has been through a LOT.

If you played high school ball in the GMAC conference, there is a non-zero chance we played against each other (or you played against my brother depending on the age)

Fun fact: My younger brother and Towns were acquaintances and he used to come over and hoop in my driveway. He broke my rim when he was a 7th grader. We also all knew he was going pro.

 !!! I love that. I never asked but how did you feel when the news broke about him being traded here?

We might have!!! I was a year ahead of Jay but I went to another (catholic school), GMAC blue division if i recall. I tapped out Junior year tho to focus on getting into college.

When you play ball with actual pro level prospects you realize pretty quickly the gulf between normal players and literal god level players. I gave up any dreams of going pro pretty quickly

my younger siblings grew up in jersey and my brother is the same age as KAT. he used to watch the games when st. joe's would visit. he explained to my little sister that this series is "BGA vs St. Joe's"

Ah, I'm a few years behind Jay. I idolized him though and our mothers were friendly so I knew him casually. I was all set to go to St. Joes, but at the last second switched up and went to play ball at a school with girls (GMAC-Red) . It worked out because I met my wife there.

I played against some guys who went pro in basketball and football. They were on another level. Most famously was Dwayne Jarrett who went to USC for football as the #1 WR in the country at the time and was a 2nd rd pick for the Panthers. He dunked on me and literally had the bottom of his shoe on my face on the front page of the paper. It was off a lob and by the time I turned around it was too late

I was always ambivalent about Towns the player, but was intrigued when we got him. Personally, I was happy for him to be coming home, especially after what happened with his mom. Now, I feel like he's always been a Knick.

i went to st. john's in the 90s with that same recognition. i could play some. but nah. that's something else. forget pro prospects... proper D1 prospects.

i was a 6'4" C/F who could shoot before being a stretch was acceptable. didn't have guard handle. STUDENT athlete.

closest i got to glory was open gym runs with the main team, which in hindsight i can't believe was allowed because i almost took bootsy thornton's head off one time going for a rebound.

my only regret was not taking a butta up on playing on his AAU team. would have been fun.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

There are some.

2-0 tonight, OG will be all over Tatum and these morons will make it a point to drive and shoot less 3's while we will be hitting ours.

Brown is clearly compromised and this is why I keep screaming for Josh to start doing off ball screens for OG and Mikal.

Let OG get switched onto Brown and let him play bully ball. That's 26 pts at minimum

on the defensive end it needs to be hart on him and treat him like the way they are treating hart, treat him as a nonfactor as if its 4 on 5, that is the key to derail their offense.
