Plus, most importantly, Kerr doesn't have to fight with himself via mental gymnastics to keep him in the game.

I wonder how well Klay would have dealt with Butler's arrival. Imagine Butler giving Klay a middle finger on the bench during a game like he did with Hield.

It is really hard not to like Buddy. Now I need some translation on all the banter. What is this Smoky Robinson, Budda stuff. Saw some gestures look like puff puff pass. Is that the joke? That buddy still celebrating 420?

This team already has Gary Payton. All we need now is a few other strains. Oh yea and the poster named of a strain, you know who you are. LOL

Smokey Robinson is what Buddy did to that layup attempt he shanked.

Kerr sure stuck to his guns with Buddy Hield, and it payed off! He earned his salary this year just from the Rockets game 7. And he earned next year from Minny game 1.

Kerr always trusted Buddy's shooting. The big difference is how much he's embraced his defensive role on the Warriors.

If you want to play for the Warriors you had better be willing to play defense!

They have to rely on Buddy because he can make a decent percentage of open looks the team generates.

They're not getting that from Moody, Podz and Kuminga. Or Post.

So it's out of necessity, not necessarily that Buddy is balling out, though he has for stretches.

But for long stretches he wasn't shooting much better than Podz or Moody.

Buddy is one of the main reasons we're still in this. So moving forward whether he plays good or bad, with Curry out, we just have to hope he brings it every game. This version of Buddy is the Buddy which started the season 12-3 for the Warriors.

Regular season = Buddy. But this Playoff Budders has been doing great when he's hitting his shots and not overdribbling. That's why we brought him here. Gotta give him his props for steppin up in these games when we needed him to!
