If the Knicks lose this board is going to get zesty...um, I mean spicy.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Charania would go on to explain that the choices come down to salary cap implications, as the team has a league record five players set to make $28 million next year with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, Jrue Holiday, and Derrick White all set to meet or exceed that mark. These collective salaries have catapulted Boston into the second apron of the salary cap, and the team will have a $500 million bill for the 2025-26 season, which is also a league record.

They aren't the same team without their bigs being able to shoot threes, Horford is turning 39, there's only so much gas left in that tank and Kristaps is already falling apart. We simply have to wait them out, we're built for the future, they are not.

Even dumping Brown's contract and without taking any salaries back, I believe they are still over the 1st apron. That's how much in trouble they are if they want to keep this squad. It's either Brown (Tatum will be a Celt for a long time) or a couple of pieces (Holiday + Porz)?

ayo! lmao. that area is where i visit my parents, they still live that way. it's a big part of why i like kat so much. brunson is from jersey, yes, but he's from the philly/shore side. kat's a true "suburbs of new york"-style central jerseyan. he has an actual relationship with new york city. the jeremy lin tweets made that clear. i feel kinship with him, like, i know he was watching that 54-win melo team same way i was

Aw man. I'm so happy to hear this. I'll consider you my Trojan brother too by extension

Yeah that's why I love Karl man. He is a true Jersey suburbs kid. That's why I was so proud when he started shoving dudes in that Pistons series. Central Jersey folks aren't New Yorkers, but we don't take sh*t either.

JB is from New Brunswick so I consider him apart of the tribe  once I found out he was born here i immediately started rooting for him.

I feel like New Yorkers are a thorough breed of folks. You gotta be to live in the city. Especially the part where my late Grandpa used to live.

Me, I like to visit and eat food but after a good time I gotta come back to the quiet Jersey suburban life

With Tatum their window will always be open but yeah. They're gonna have to break that up.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brooklyn gives up their asset chest this summer to land either Giannis or Brown tbh.

I personally would be very happy with splitting in Boston and trying to get both at the Mecca. Its going to take a lot from the boys to beat Boston back to back especially on their home floor. I dont have high expectations for tonight.

Cavs also going to lose Ty Jerome at minimum and with Mobley winning DPOY his max is going to make it harder to keep their core together.

And we have what, 2 more seasons before Brunson gets paid?

The window is here and Leon has gotta make sure next year's roster is the closest we can get to perfection

We gotta go for the jugular tonight. Can't let them get off the mat.

We need one of those vintage dominant KAT performances where he drops 30 + 15 and you wonder why he doesn't do that more often. See Miami game earlier this season.

The good news for us is that there's no clear dynasty in the NBA and new teams are winning almost every season.

We can stand pat, extend Mikal, and add a solid bench piece with the tax MLE. That would give us 8 strong rotation players to try again next season. Hopefully that's with an upgrade at coach, but we should be even better next season, barring major injuries.

Yes indeed Wingo, so is Horford. So they could lose both of them, and the Cavs are most likely losing Ty Jerome who would have been in the running for 6th man of the year if it weren't for the MPG thresholds.

The Pacers could lose Myles Turner too. 8-)

Yeah true. And then also, Kolek, Hukporti, and Dadiet will be 2nd year players and all have upside. If those guys can make a leap next year's team will be pretty solid.
