It's over.

People here underestimate the Knicks and the pick up of KAT and Bridges. Those were huge additions. I wanted KAT a few years ago for us.

Besides all that, Brown is playing with a bad knee and Jrue with a bad hamstring. Not to mention that Jrue and Al were not as good this season compared to last.

Boston's luck ran out.

I don't think it's luck related. They chose to keep playing brown at the end of the year, despite him having a banged up knee.

Jrue was given some rest throughout the year, but certainly at his age, they could have expanded the rotation and gave him more.

That is not, but decisions made by our coach. That at this time is looking like it backfired.

The only solace I can take from tonight is I don’t think anyone’s close to OKC this season anyway.

Certainly not us either even if we manage to come back in this series

tonight Horford was a -17 net rating
tonight Kristaps was a -31 net rating
tonight Luke was a +24 net rating

Al and KP just got killed
we had Queta all season but despite the physicality of these playoffs Queta hasn't played
last yr we had Brissett and Tillman as frontcourt depth, this yr we dont

with KP being sick, we can't afford a bad Al game
some posters were calling for Queta, I wish we saw him for a few minutes

loved what Luke gave us tonight, it's a shame he didn't play in the 4th qrter

For a guy like Neems who has a team option who saw KP not playing game 1 and Luke foul trouble and tonight KP again injured and getting ZERO minutes. He deservedly should be pissed. He can play when Robinson is out there. And IMO, the Jays likes when he’s out there.

Even the young pistons won a couple games in New York during the playoffs. Can't we too?

The decision to play Brown though whatever it is he has in the regular season was mind boggling.

Celtics have been their own worse enemy. All they needed to do is make some shots. Again this is all celtics. Now they have a gauntlet in front of them. MSG is gonna be loud in game 3.

It’s gonna be 1-1. I still think the nuggets can make it interesting. I wanna be in the finals but this team has gagged this series. This is all on them and the knicks took advantage of their gagging.

At this point, it feels like Celtics basketball is jacking up 40 3’s and missing 75% of them. So please do something other than Celtics basketball.

Quoted for truth – and for anyone still defending this fraud of a coach.

At this time I will try to remain calm like a bomb. But I do remember all the **** posters who always attacked me about joe.

And I do remember the thread that said, the disrespect to joe must stop.

I do recall all the green teamers who keep defending somebody that is clearly an inferior coach.

He literally cannot overcome against someone with equal talent. In fact, if he doesn't have a major talent advantage he sucks as much as any coach I have seen.

This is the time to unleash. As much as I try to like Joe, I dislike any Celtics coach that gives up big playoff leads at home. Especially in two consecutive games. If Brad doesn't bring in a head new coach, it will be hard for me to be emotional invested in this team. This team also needs a legit big man. KP couldn't be counted on. Kornet is a decent back up that isn't strong enough to battle and Al is going probably done.

From a dumpster fire to an actual fire at the Garden. Place evacuated because of a fire, according to reporter Noa...

Can't wait to see the green tears. Come out and claim Joe has the winningest percentage in a regular season. Blah blah blah.. He wins because his team is stacked, but if the advantage is not that great. He shows that he is nothing..

That’s a weakkkkk take man. Celts beat themselves, Knicks haven’t done anything special. Win Sat and game on, still hope they let Joe go. He’s the leader of this group and adds absolutely sky nothing! Too bad Van Gundy didn’t stick around he could have helped this clown

Lol it’s just the facts my guy. There is no “game on” other than on the planet delusia. Fans lie, numbers don’t.

That feeling will go away. Just like winning the championship last season. That was great but that feeling lasted about a week or two for me.

I'm pissed and I'm not.

I always have to remind myself I have no influence on whether they win or lose and they all get paid millions to put the ball in the hoop. Maybe it's a little more in depth than putting a ball in the hoop but compared to us peasants they got it made.

Call it a coping mechanism or whatever but it helps I guess

Trash basketball. Brunson has outplayed tatum think about that. I been saying it all year on this board and people thought i was crazy. They’re very one dimensional. It seems like they’re prone to make two point shots.

If we go quietly i wanna see drastic changes on this roster. This is pathetic. The Knicks have done nothing special here but keep it close and wait for the Celtics to self destruct and they make their shots in the end.

Nothing special? They came back twice down 20 points on the road. No one has ever done that.
