Game 1 is the worst thing that could’ve happened to Denver in the fashion that it ended.

OKC won’t take them lightly anymore and when they’re on they are a 30 pt gap better than them. Not that the rest of the West had much of a chance anyway, OKC smells blood now that their biggest competition out east is done for.

From a competitive aspect, the Nuggets fought to keep OKC’s win to within 30. The crowd was getting anxious any time it was within 33-34 points, only for OKC to quickly bump it back up to a 40 point lead. Denver literally had nothing tonight, hopefully they come out much sharper in Denver.

As i keep saying, and as todays game beautifully illustrated, regardless of Jokics greatness if Murray, MPJ and Braun dont show up - and they were absolute no shows today - noone can carry this G league roster anywhere. I think to everyone outside superfans of SGA its pretty obvious who the best player is but what the Nuggets are putting next to him is an absolute disgrace.

Murray shows up about one in five games. MPJ even less. They came to play in one game of the Clippers series. Curious if and when they decide to bring something for their max contracts.

Very obvious comment but game 3 is gonna be real important to determine the Nuggets chances. One thing that bodes well is they got waxed by Clippers in game 3 (if memory serves correct) and they still came back strong afterwards.

They got a biblical beatdown today. But they also got a demoralizing loss to the Clippers in game 3 and responded by winning the next 3/4. I'm personally not calling this series over yet.

We have at least 5 of the hardcore LeBron stans in here (i do not call them Lakers fans because they might change their team in a few weeks if LBJ takes his talents elsewhere). They do not distribute to hate on all teams evenly but kind of focus on Steph and Jokic (not even the teams, its the players the try to drag down).

Really impressive win for OKC on both ends. Great defensive physicality and made Denver very uncomfortable offensively without fouling. Jaylin Williams played really well. Offensively, it was good to see the support guys have a good shooting night.

I expect Denver to come back with a strong response Friday. OKC can't come in and go through the motions again like they did game 1. Same physicality and aggression will be necessary.
