these are just very ugly games. if you look at the boxscore it looks ridiculous. i would not say brunson played bad. if he was bad, pretty much everybody else on these teams was worse. if you wanna call it bad, fine. but he was still the best player on the court both games. the boxscore doesnt tell the whole story.

i assume you havent watched the games, if you say that with a straight face

This reminds me a series from last year

Job's not done, Knicks blowout 2-0 twice in the history. One is last year, it was different due to injuries but still they should stay focused and play hard until the last whistle.

Celtics refuse to grind this playoffs. They won a title and now they are entitled. Like playing hard is beneath their level.
Magic brought lot of physicality in series but simply didn't have any offense, yet still bothered them. Celtics replay wasn't physicality, it was mostly just complaining to press.

Second, still more of the same. Aside from 3 point drought, they are still getting outworked.

Winning title and repeating aren't same thing, repeating is way harder.

I also don't understand their walking pace, for team that has so much talent and relies heavily on 3 point shots, wouldn't it make more sense to play faster?

They also force iso plays way more than they need to.

I think they can turn it around, if not win both games on a road. But there are things that they need to change. For start Brown & Tatum have to play like stars.

There's no way New York sweeps them. Boston will give them Hell over these next two games. I want the Knicks to finish this. I think they can. With Bridges and OG they are built to do so, but you can't count the Celtics out. They could very well just go ahead and win the next 4 games.

Celtics right now for some reason have gone into coast mode at the end of the 3rd. Not taking away from the great job the Knicks have done but the Celtics have had 2 games where they had 20 point leads late. Fans like us can act over confident on message boards like this but they can’t. That’s an issue. That and two 4th quarter performances from 3 point land that would make Marcus Smart smile.

But yeah so far great series by Bridges and Hart.

Of course I watched the games, he missed tons of shots he normally makes. In the context, he wasn't terrible, I agree, but he wasn't good either. He can be better, and will likely need to be better at home.

Bold part is why boston is struggling, don't let the 3 isn't falling nonsense fool you, they aren't falling because a good amount of them are contested. Can we also all agree the Knicks haven't played their best these 2 games. Knicks may actually just....be better.

Celtics fans shouldn't panic. The same team that blew two 20 point leads was good enough to have two 20 point leads. If their two stars settle down in the 4th it's very possible we'll see a long series.

Yeah, as a Knicks fan, I think this series is far from over. The C's could easily be up 2-0 right now. That being said, if the Knicks win game 3, then this series is more or less over.

first it was game 1, then they were gonna throw the kitchen sink game 2, now they are hearing the noise for 3 days and winning game 3. What's changing? is tatum all of a sudden going to figure out OG and mitch rite behind him? Horford isn't going to look his age anymore? jrue not being what he was defensively? brown jacking up shots trying to draw fouls? KP not being soft? if the answer is the 3 will fall, i will say goodluck because offensively the knicks have not been good either outside of stretches down the stretch.
