The Wolves are low NBA IQ team with a questionable coach. In fact, Wolves barely play like a team at all....it's Hero ball or bust.
They beat the Lakers because Lakers were old AND slow AND played ISO AND were not that great defensively (Luka in, AD out = worse defense).
Warriors survived the best defense they'll encounter in the playoffs in Houston....and Wolves looks like disorganized and soft in comparison.
Warriors are a historically high IQ team that just added an all star/super star with an equally high IQ as Step and Draymond.
With Curry injured, this will be go 7....Wolves and damn lucky he pulled his hammy.
I've long been critical of the Wolves bbiq, but this sounds like you just tuned in last night and have made your whole judgement of the team on one of our very worst games of the year. It's always bad analysis to judge teams at their worst or at their best.
The Wolves very much have a system, and over the second have of the system had some pretty impressive ball movement of the drive and kick variety. Sometimes in our bad games, the passing game falls apart, for sure. Our system is a series of rapid drive and kicks, while also being aggressive shooting the 3-ball whenever teams surrender them.
Chris Finch has been a pretty fantastic coach over the years, creating unique systems for the complicated puzzle pieces the front office hands him every year. Last year the Wolves had a historic regular season that held up in the playoffs against the defending champs before finally sputtering in the WCF. Finch has consistently found a way to maximize personnel in a defensive scheme, even before Gobert arrived.
No question the Warriors are a more high IQ team that us. It's their main advantage. We have advantages of our own: superior size, speed, and athleticism.
Your takes just come across as you yelling stuff after watching one game.
