I think Orlando softened Boston. If it continues to be a grind out, defensive type of series, they’re going to get swept.

They’re too much of a finesse team. Tatum can’t extend his right arm and push off when driving with Mitch in front of him like he does with smaller defenders.

At 800 a pop to just get in to msg, will real fans be priced out of msg..unfortunately yes..besides of course knicks being 1-2 at home, 5-0 on the road. MSG has not been kind to the knicks. I am Concerned that C’s will actually be more relaxed at msg. In games 1-2 you felt the tension from the fans and the players in Boston and it helped the knicks complete the shocking wins. One thing this franchise for ever has not done well is play with prosperity this goes back to the 90’s teams

this what we talking about, HerSports85.

us fans can celebrate a little today.

we lock right tf back in to finish this. that is all.

They have work to do. Lots to clean up. But the fans deserve to celebrate and be happy.

Two more wins. I don't care if they are ugly. Two more wins...after that, we can start talking about who will be the first to win 16

This pressure is where diamonds are made. So far the Knicks have pulled of an historical feat. Several in these playoffs actually. They are responding with ugly wins but, a win is a win at the end of the day. Don't get complacent. Stay focused. Kill them!! Us fans can enjoy the vibe for a bit but, that will turn to nerves come Saturday.

Can you comprehend being here when it can be argued that the Knicks have yet to play a good game in this playoffs?

I hear you... hopefully the fans go all out on Saturday but it would help if the team gives them something to cheer for early on. Chicken or egg situation.

I think the crowd will be up to the task because this is the closest to real contention we've been in maybe 25 years and that won't be lost on most of the fans.

Fans goal might have been beating Detroit or not getting embarrassed by Boston. Knicks goal is the ring. Ain’t gonna be no celebration even if we sweep. They aren’t thinking two more wins they’re thinking 10

Bill Simmons spent the last 2 weeks whining about how Jokic should have been clutch player of the year, and now he's getting a first-hand lesson into why there's only 1 true King in the 4th.

The printer has run out of ink churning out all these apology forms for Mikal, Mitch and Thibs...
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right

The switching hasn’t been something that has worked. Celtics still keep getting wide open looks and they have built up 20+ leads in back to back games. It’s the emphasis on protecting the paint, living with their 3 point chucking and then just extra effort from individual players when it comes to moving their feet, deflecting passes, digging and stripping the ball, contesting shots on their drives, etc. which has helped us in the comebacks

KAT and Mitch have overall been very good in these two games when they do a straight switch onto JB/Tatum. Burned sometimes, sure, but mostly good outcomes for us. We should absolutely continue to switch. It's when we get caught in a drop or are late on our switch that we have gotten consistently burned.

I'll take a contested step back or a lay up over open threes. Keep switching and beating them up

We are doing the opposite of that though. We are giving them open 3s and sending all types of help on Tatum

Orlando switched but never sent help and just stayed home on the shooters so Tatum destroyed them in ISOs. We are leaving shooters open but collapsing the paint to provide help. Basically taking Tatum completely out of the series and cutting the head off the snake
