I don't like how Karen tried to seemingly blame this man for something when he didn't do anything. That stuff triggers me.

I'll keep it real, I doubt that woman cares about the Celtics winning or losing and isn't salty they lost, she probably just wants to go home at that point. The whole section is empty except for them, and when I see videos like this, I just know the people are trying to go viral.

Oh for sure. But it looked like she was trying to blame that young man for doing something when he didn't do anything

Game 5? :dontknow:

I think he misspoke. It's the dementia. He thinks this is the 80s and we're playing against Larry Bird.

LOL, excuse me.

I forgot.

Having flashbacks to the 2018 draft. The board's love for Mikal had convinced me (and through me my more casual Knicks fan friends) that we need to get Mikal where we pick (I had been team Luka for years before that but Mills f'd that up). We agreed that our backup should have been MPJ.

When we picked Knox, the absolute disgust in that bar was hilarious. We have one homer fan who was convinced it should be Knox b/c that's who the Knicks media told him it would be and he was the sole person cheering.

Anyway, this just feels like a nice arc for my Knicks fandom from those dark times

We should feed KAT non-stop......like non-stop.....especially with Porzingis being limited they have no one that can defend KAT in the post, absolutely no one. It's either KAT bullies his way to the basket and scores like 8 out of 10 times, draws a foul or they have to double team which should lead to an open shot.

They have no answer for KAT posting up. None....we should go to him over and over and over again...milk it like there is no tomorrow...

Yeah like out of all our players and what they do and how they match up, the KAT post up makes me feel most confident...he gets whatever he wants and if they double team, he will find the open man. For us it is the easiest way against Boston to generate offense.

He needs to expect and recognize where the double is coming from. He doesn't always do that. It would be a great wrinkle to add in to see if it works. What would their answer be?

Whatever it takes to win. I think that's the greatest thing about Brunson. He's gonna do just that. We have the best closer in the game!! Keep us in it and he can win it!!

KAT is not a a good passer out of doubles in the post. Especially when the double comes as he starts his move.

He’s still a good passer and we’re currently not utilizing it well.

From what I’m seeing, the media’s narrative after game 2 is the Celtics beat themselves again. People literally saying “Boston wins if they make one more three pointer.” I hope our squad is listening to the disrespect and comes out for blood Saturday
WTF Post of 2017:

If Phil pulled that off, I would put a put a paper bag over my head, paste a picture of Jeannie on it, poke a hole through the mouth, and give Phil the best BJ he's ever had in his entire life.[/quote]

Told u switching was the way! Happy he made that key adjustment.

It’s like a boxer getting beat down for the first 10 rounds, only to come out during the championship rounds as a southpaw… it totally threw them off.

Thibs with that late game checkmate on Mazz n his chess guru, with the Mitch/OG sub, getting them 1 closer to the bonus was masterclass too.

The switching hasn’t been something that has worked. Celtics still keep getting wide open looks and they have built up 20+ leads in back to back games. It’s the emphasis on protecting the paint, living with their 3 point chucking and then just extra effort from individual players when it comes to moving their feet, deflecting passes, digging and stripping the ball, contesting shots on their drives, etc. which has helped us in the comebacks

Of course it has… I thought everyone knew that. If the focus was only protecting the paint, well, we did that all season and got destroyed by 30

Not at all. We are actually doing a better job protecting the paint not the 3 point line. They still get a ton of open looks, which fortunately for us they have been missing. But we have shut down drives on the two guys who can actually get inside and have punished us inside in the past and that’s Tatum and Brown.

I was highly skeptical of the impact that Mitch would have. Glad I was wrong about that too.

Mazz actually intentionally fouled him twice to get him out of the game.
