This trade has been great for both teams

I'll never stop wondering how good we could've been last season if we had stayed healthy...but it's hard not to be so happy for Julius after how much s*** he got for being a great #2 miscast as a #1 and then playing through injury once we finally got a true #1 to bump him down into that #2 role he should be in.

Definitely a win win trade that seems to have helped both maligned big men get the fresh start they needed.

No, I live in downtown Chicago, and I ended up a Knicks fan because I was too foreign to bandwagon the local bulls in the middle of their dynasty. I must elaborate that was just after 99 Knicks finals

It was Ewing and LJ sat down at the high limit BJ table in AC Taj Mahal , it was quick they both lost 5 hands in a row , LJ was betting small 5K a hand , Ewing went 50k a hand , he didn’t even finished his Hennessy

He flushed 250k in a matter of less than 5 minutes and they went on their way :banghead:

The wolves have it in them to play like trash and lose to anyone...but I just don't see how these Warriors deal with Minnesota's size & athleticism, even if Steph was gunna be back for game 3. Especially with the way Ant feeds off of being challenged by another great player.

We don't need perfect offensive execution as long as our defense shows up. And say what you want about our opponents, but the defense has only allowed 105 points one time through 7 postseason games.

Bahahaha professional athletes are the worst gamblers. I don't have any NBA stories, but have heard some juicy things about NHLers & Bundesliga stars...nobody is as wild as footballers though. While playing for 1.FC Union, Max Kruse once had to track down a cab that he had left half a million euros in while on his way to or from a highstakes game of poker

I am very embarassed that Gobert was going at midgets and doing what a big is supposed to do when facing midgets.

Only one that should be embarassed is Gobert.

5/9 with an annual salary of what? 41M?

now thats embarassing.

Goberts averages against the Lakers in round 1. 8/10....We literally had no bigs the entire series and this **** dude went 8/10.

MY GOD 41M

Is English your second language? Maybe you don’t understand when you choose words like “non-existent offense?”

I suppose since you use the word “midgets” without being embarrassed, says so much about you. In the developed world, we don’t talk like that.

Not sure if the lakers defense was really that bad or the warriors defense is really good but the wolves have not looked good at all the last two games. Especially Ant. He can't even beat Buddy of the dribble without needing a screen.

i think the Warriors are just not a very good team without Steph Curry. Yes, we can point to the G1 upset but that's more on the Wolves really playing bad, falling big early and just no gameplan vs a Warriors team w/o Steph.

It's just so easy to beat this Warriors team. Stop Jimmy and you have your shot at winning already. Stop the role players too, and that's an easy blowout. i have no doubt one or both of the games in Golden State can be close games if the Warriors hit their outside shots, but that's also a big if considering Minnesota's defense.

Eh the Wolves looked horrible in game two against the Lakers, even if it wasn't as bad as game one, and they shot horrible in game five. So their offense was up & down in that series as well.

Glossing over the fact that Ant got injured in this game, which might have limited his burst off the dribble...maybe...

I think people over-rated them even with steph, but without him, their offense is just a disaster. And their defense is too small for teams like Minnesota. Maybe this was the Draymond of the 2010s anchoring it, but old-man-Draymond got pushed around by Towns & Anunoby like he was a child when we played them.

What is the developed world? Am i still in the beta version of the world? Did you get an early access pass to the developed world?

DAMNIT i thought i was playing the full release of civilization VII. Imagine my frustration! Probably midgets who ripped me off!

Yes yes you got me i was thouroughly embarassed by my gobert takes. Sitting in a dark corner as we speak just cursing at myself. Of course not in english since it's not my first language. In the beta version of the world Language is not a thing yet. We're still in the bug fixing stages.

Agreed, he's more of a true 4 next to Gobert and can act as a secondary creator.

We were slow footed on the perimeter and lacked any sort of resistance at the rim. Warriors have Draymond anchoring the paint, Butler is still a respectable defender, GP is still a solid poa defender, and they have youth chasing guys around on the perimeter. All in all their roster is better equipped to handle a team like the Wolves.
