Jimmy doesn’t look that great as the #1 option when he has to play in the West.

I'm ready for a Minnesota - New York/Indiana final after how much everyone talked about nobody having a chance against the top 3 teams except the oldies.

Minny vs NY is my dream finals as someone without a horse in this race. So many storylines. But if the Knicks don’t make the finals, I’d rather OKC come out the West and see SGA win his first championship.

The wolves are really good and just a brutal matchup for you, even if steph hadn't gone down. They are a lot dumber than you, but just so much bigger and more athletic. With that endless cycle of drivers leveraging that advantage to keep a defense under constant pressure. If they were also a high IQ team or consistent sharpshooters, we'd be talking about one of the absolutely best offenses in the NBA.

Warriors were 3-1 vs. the Timberwolves this season before Jimmy arrived. It's the opposite, the Wolves are a good matchup for the Warriors -- when Steph plays. Looked like Steph was going for 40 before he went down.

I know you're a Warrior hater though

Good call, and it’s very true. Worse, it’s been going on for three years.

The best way to beat the Wolves is to tell Ant that Minnesota is favored.

Why is that a trait so many of my favorite teams have had, regardless of the sport?

I'm a Pacers fan and I can get with a Pacers-Wolves final. That would be so much fun to watch.

Detroit was 3-1 vs New York in the regular season this year.
Orlando was 2-1 vs Boston in the regular season this year.
Boston was 4-0 vs New York in the regular season this year.
Phoenix was 3-0 vs Minnesota in the regular season last year.

There's only so much to be gleaned from the regular seaosn at the best of times and it's extra unhelpful with two teams that made such big trades after training camp. Jimmy clicked with you right away but Randle & DDV needed time to gel with the wolves, and they did. Plus McDaniels broke out while Randle was injured. So these just aren't the same wolves you played earlier in the year, the same way you're not the same Warriors that they played.

What's funny is I was actually a huge Warriors fan in the 2010s and had no qualms with you guys snagging KD, not after the Heatles. But even back then you were a team who walked that line between gritty & dirty...like Jimmy's heat, who I also liked when not playing us...which eventually turned me off and I just got sick of Draymond's bull***. Especially as the team around steph deteriorated and the basketball became less interesting to watch.

So I'm not so much a hater of the warriors...though calling me a Draymond hater is probably fair and I'm definitely riding with the Wolves in this series...I just think you have a squad with some very clear limitations that the more well-rounded teams can take advantage of, despite enjoying the intelligence of Steph, Jimmy & Dray. So had you as a third tier contender before the playoffs started; behind BOS / CLE / OKC and NYK / IND / MIN.

Yeah that one would be so juicy, on and off the court. That's what I've been pulling for all season.

The man is 50. He didn't look the same as he did a couple of years ago even in the east. That's part of why Miami didn't want to pay him the money he wanted.

It reminds me of a Mayor Daley press conference. Just a master of off topic deflection. “Why do you want to talk about my son? My son died when he was 2”. Um Mayor we are asking about another son the one involved in a murder charge… oh wait too late you already walked off the podium.

Bahahahaha, this killed me because now all I can picture is Draymond delivering this "explanation" at city hall

Jimmy is a #2 now but still, if nobody else wants to handle the rock or hit open shots his job is sort of impossible.

We're just used to watching Steph do the impossible but that doesn't mean Jimmy isn't still good.

Also I just think the Warriors went out there like let these guys win this one so we can save energy.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

Yeah, if you had someone like Turner and a healthy steph I'd really like your chances. But without steph or a quality center, I just don't see how you overcome this matchup. Despite Jimmy still being a very crafty #2.

I went to the game tonight and it sure looked like everybody was yelling “Draymond sucks!”. If you’ve been to Wolves game, as usual, it looked like a United colors of Benneton ad in there. If anything, Draymond is the one being discriminatory here. All colors of people hate Draymond equally.

And btw, the officiating was terrible, again. Finch had to use his timeouts winning challenges again. 22 fouls against Wolves and 16 against Warriors. Wolves weren’t physical tonight. We had to play like we couldn’t touch them. It was ridiculous all night long.

Huge boost by refs for the Timberwolves, esp when warriors closed back to within 7 in third period. Even the commentators were surprised by the calls Ant was getting and complaining as well. The lead swelled back to 20 and broke warriors will.

Well, he can be angry, and he is black  . Guy knows exactly why everyone hates him, he can't be so dud in a head to not understand why he is hated. I still can't believe he has a podcast, who are the people who want to listen to him speak?

what does that have to do with the west? the warrriors are not better than any of the good east teams.

jimmy doesnt look like a 1st option for 2 years now. And i would even argue jimmy never REALLY was a #1 kind of player. He was pushed into this role on miami. people that expect prime KD output from jimmy are just dilusional.

i see him as a prime defender when he was in his prime, that is secondary creator
im bout dat action boss

Yeah but the Wolves are better than many of the good teams in the east and that’s the point. Suddenly when playing against teams better than the ones he’s used to feasting on in the East, man’s is coming up empty.
