Jaylen Brown and Al Horford were part of the last 0-2 comeback (losing two at home) of a Celtics team. They know it can be done.

Two days are enough for all of these guys to grow some brains and balls. I know it’s cliche and we can all discuss the basketball aspect of the game but The Knicks have wanted it more plain and simple (wanted Josh Hart as a Celtic for years). It would be embarrassing to get swept by this very average Knicks team. The Celtics need to win the next game, and Joe has to step up—start calling timeouts whenever the Knicks gain momentum.

The Knicks aren't an average team. Their starting lineup is better than ours right now with Brown and Jrue banged up. .

Even if they are better than this current version of the Celtics, they are still an average team. Even if they somehow magically make it to the finals, they are getting curb stomped by whoever comes out of the West.

I had this team going back-to-back but instead it looks like this team will be a one and done as far as all time great Cs squad goes. I was ready to put Tatum above Pierce and KG if he has just been able to take care of business but after this display I’ll have to slot him in just above Ray Allen and still outside of the top 10 Cs of all time.

The Celtics can absolutely get it going and win four straight games. They have the talent to do so. I'm not here to say that is what will happen. But make no mistake. The first thing you need is the ability and we do have it.

I still can't believe we came out and shot 60 three pointers in game 1. I can't believe we did that.
Firstly, no Celtics team had ever attempted 60 in any game before this season. Looking at stats (and including Knicks gm 1) we are 3-3 in the six games we attempted 60 or more.

So in the games we are shooting 60 or MORE 3PTA we are 3-3
In the games where we shot LESS than 60 3PTA we are 62-21

we are just so arrogantly foolish with our counterproductive shot selection

and it's entirely based on the belief inside the team that "3pt attempt rate" is the most important stat in basketball. and it goes against all the fundamentals of the sport and just our actual W-L record... it's just like a blind adherence to an ideological belief. And I am baffled as a die hard fan to how the team can be so foolish

I actually thought this team was capable of winning 3 to 4 titles. And not this group is not in the big 3 level.
