No-Brainer.

This simply would make him Jokic 2.0

It would give him the shooting he lacks, the quickness of a guard/small forward and the handling to actually create something on his own.

At that point you dont look at the money anymore.

The focus would have to be Barnes. In order to succeed you need your best player to be top 10 in the NBA. All this talk about improving Poeltl is actually quite funny.

I'd sign Lou Williams to a 10-day and sacrifice him for Scottie.

Here's a random position-for-position one. It would be interesting to sacrifice Poeltl into Chomche.

All of Poeltl's skill and intelligence into a player with Chomche's athleticism and youth? Not to mention that you're getting a player just coming into the league with a very cheap contract. That's a top 5 center in the league.

Another easier one would be sacrifice Gradey into Scottie. A few people have mentioned Battle, but Gradey would be even more interesting. All of who Scottie is now, but then you add movement shooting and a smooth pull up jumper from anywhere on the court? That makes Scottie one of the best players in the league.

I guess a positive would be $30 million in cap savings. Then could use the MLE.

Any of our vets giving their talents to our youth would be ideal...

Yak >> Chomche
Boucher >> Mogbo
Temple >> JKW
Raptors record prediction: 45-37 (6th place in the East)

The Guard -> Chomche one is tough because we don’t know how they’d perform in a completely different defensive role. IQ into Chomche seems like a good choice but what if you made IQ 6’10 would he be able to do big man defensive stuff at a solid level? It’s sort of unknowable.

That's good, I'd fuse Mogbo and Dick.

Or Scottie and RJ.

Or IQ and BI

Okay so this got me thinking. Which two players on the raptors are most complementary.

Which two would you use in NBA Jam?
I believe in Masai.

Sacrifice barnes and combine his attributes with RJ's leadership and work ethic.

Gradey fused with Chomche would be insane.

You need to sacrifice a player on the team. When you sacrifice that player, you can combine their skills with another on the roster.

The sacrificed player ceases to exist.
The other player now gets their skills.

Considering age, contract status, etc ... what's the best combo?

Is it simple - sacrifice Battle and add to Barnes?

Is it more complicated - sacrifice RJ and add to Poeltl? But Poeltl is up for an extension soon and that would explode

More interesting - sacrifice Mogbo and give skills to Dick?

Interested to hear people's combos.

Throwback: Reggie Evans defensive ability, motor, rebounding into Bargnani.
