2024: Zaccharie Risacher (Atlanta Hawks)
2023: Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs)
2022: Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic)
2021: Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons)
2020: Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves)
2019: Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans)
2018: Deandre Ayton (Phoenix Suns)
2017: Markelle Fultz (Philadelphia 76ers)
2016: Ben Simmons (Philadelphia 76ers)
2015: Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves)

Two questions in one. Where would he have been picked AND where would I pick him?

He probably would have been picked third or 4th.

I have him close to Wembanyama. So probably second. Many of the others are very good, but I never saw the combination I see with Cooper and Victor.

Flagg has this going for him:

1) He won't turn 19 until the end of the year.

2) He is already a day one excellent defender

3) Great passer and rebounder.

4) Excellent shooter and rapidly improving.

5) High BBIQ

6) And this last one, is what has sold me on him--he's a Giannis-type competitor.

To summarize, he is the exact opposite of Kyle Kuzma.

Looking through mock drafts this morning, and I think the most overlooked guy in this draft is Brice Williams. Think he'd be a great fit with us.

I think there'd be a split between Flagg & Zion, with more people going Flagg ultimately due to his age, shooting, & Zion's weight concerns.

Do you want another Gary Trent, if we can't re-sign him? Or to double-down w/ a little bigger version?

Is pick 47 the only pick we have this year? I thought we had Portlands 2nd round pick? Is that 47? I’m confused lol. It’s hard to keep track of our draft picks nowadays with all the trades Horst has made to date..

Portland's was last year (came from the Donte/Ibaka trade). We took Tyler Smith. Just 47 this year.

I’d take him over any of those other #1s besides Wemby knowing what was known at draft time.

He dominated a scrimmage with the team USA pros at age 17. Imagine what he’ll be like in his early to mid-20s with a whole bunch more strength.

He was easily more polished at Duke on both ends than Tatum and Paolo and Zion.

You don't make jokes about 'im. You don't draft him ironically.

The draft lotto (next Monday) & combine scrimmages (Tuesday I think) are less than a week away. Both are pertinent from our perspective. Got to watch who lands Flagg & can see who shows out at the scrimmages. The Bucks drafted our last 2 top picks (& DiVo) from there.

Jonathan Wasserman's top 5 sleepers: 1. Nique Clifford, 2. Karter Knox, 3. Kobe Sanders, 4. Hunter Sallis, 5. Koby Brea. I was wondering if we could move up to get Clifford. Big, 3-way wing. Sanders has an interesting huge guard/wing, dynamic player profile. Brea fits our elite shooter profile.

When there's a gathering of senior brass regarding the selection of Duke's Wisconsin-reared freshman that is when I state a Konklave is in session feel free to use no big deal

Anybody big CBA fans? What's the scoop on Hansen Yang? Looks like he's got pretty good footwork for his size. Has a bit of Alphen Sengun to his game. Saw he's being mocked late-second round on a few sites.

Last time the Bucks had the #47 pick they selected Tiny Gallon. Good times.

Waiting to see how he performs against a chair before making final judgment.

I'm not a big CBA fan and have a super hard time contextualizing what I'm seeing when I watch it. His numbers stack up with guys who've had a cup of coffee or two in the league, so if he's really 19, maybe he's a real prospect. He looks more legit than Zhou Qi did. Kind of reminds me of Bogut, actually.

Here are some clips of him schooling Alex Sarr two years ago, when he was 17 and Sarr 18. Should maybe note that he looks physically indistinguishable from this in more recent play, whereas Sarr looks 20 lbs heavier now.

I find it hard to believe he’s 17yrs old in this video. I’m pretty sure he fought Jean-Claude Van Damme in Bloodsport and that came out in 1988.

The 47th pick is pretty rough historically, and Horst is a bad drafter. So move up into 30's or out for a cheap "vet" that's playable.

How does Yang look against a chair though?
