I had insane pushback on this forum for disagreeing with people who said Siakam is a better player than him.

Good times lol.

Good to see the Cavs healthy. Man, the Pacers have had a ton of luck facing injured teams the last couple of seasons

You could have made that argument in 21/22 his last season in Utah (more of a toss up). But he has been noticeably better than Siakam since he got to Cleveland. Mostly because he took a leap in terms of pull up shooting, actually turned himself into an offensive hub.

I will note he has been kind of lucky playing with these great defensive bigs as bad guard defender, but yea he is special.

And they’re lucky he’s so elite at creating offence. It goes both ways.

He’s just always been better than Siakam imo.

Yeah this board tends to fall in love with the awkward raw offensive players who are good defenders......Without Donovan Mitchell this Cavs team is a fringe playoff team....He is what makes the Cavs team a title contender....Cavs built a great team around Mitchell though as well...

But yeah in terms of styles Siakams game can tend to fall off during the playoffs....As you can see today he was not that good....Mitchell has been one of the better playoff performers....Siakam is hot/cold during playoffs.

Yea, I don't think Nuggets have enough to beat OKC 4x. They are already going to zone cause they want to avoid mismatch but Thunder making their 3s. Then the bench comes in and....

Joker is seeing multiple bodies from an all time defense, he is going to have his worst series since he won MVP. Way too much to overcome.

SGA’s impact from the regular szn hasn’t seem to have been the same in the playoffs.

Kinda surprised by that.

this was true before his last game, but that game brought up his numbers and impact up by a lot.

Its tough to play like he did in the regular season in the playoffs with the coverage he is seeing rn. But he has still been ridiculously good.

30/5/7 on 58% TS

Joker for example 25/12/9 on 58% TS

Denver lets goooo
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

How is Denver winning? Jokic has been terrible tonight. OKC is such a great defensive team. And SGA can just get whatever he wants. Such a special player.

Last game doing a alot of heavy lifting.

Both Jokic and him have been really off. Luckily their teammates are showing up.

Shai was mid and missing shots he usually makes in half the Grizzlies series. He has been better this series despite the defense he is seeing doubles/zones/boxn1 etc. Joker also just went through a great Clippers defense and now an all time great OKC defense.

I think both have been the 2 best players in the post season so far still. Its still small sample especially for Shai who has only played 6 games. A great game will boost his numbers a lot. Joker to a lesser extent.

The pace and the shot making in this game is really something. It's been said before but if only Murray had been this healthy in the Olympics.

Jokic court mapping has been so bad this series, he is better off just shooting. OKC is too good at recovery and forcing turnovers.

Joker is averaging more turnovers than assists. 17 assists to 21 turnovers through 3 games and 53% TS woof.

Denver crowd is insane, they've been standing up the entire fourth quarter. Can't remember the last time a Raptors crowd was similarly hyped, even in the playoffs.

Return to Toronto Raptors
