Whats crazy is that if Den wins.. they may have to play the team that seems to have their number recently

Don’t gamble but that is where I’d put my money if I did, even though I have to also imagine the Jokic will be back to usual greatness next game.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I think they are better off sticking with this team. They have the age advantage so there is no need to panic

If they fail to get past the second round, with perhaps the best regular season of all time, it is absolutely time to panic. And I say this as someone who thinks people overreact way too often.

Sounds very prisoner of the moment.

I remember several years ago people calling for splitting up Brown and Tatum…they just could get it done. They were just young and needed more time. As does OKC if they fail to win it this season.

I am not a prisoner of the moment type of person. And I'm not saying they need to blow up the team. But last year was the year that it was okay for a young team to lose in the second round. If that happens again? Coming off the way they just dominated the West and won almost 70 games? Yeah, you're gonna have to take a very long look in the mirror. Anything less than a trip to the finals would be a massive, monumental disappointment for this team.

Plus, the way the new CBA is, life comes at you really fast. You can't take years and years to get things going. Which is why the premature "dynasty" talk was even more silly this time around than the last time OKC looked like a dynasty. The windows close a lot faster now.

What stunned me was how rattled OKC looked in OT. I thought Denver would be exhausted and fold but OKC did instead.

I thought Denver's only chance was to muck up 2 or 3 games and assumed they didn't have enough bodies to do it. I might be wrong.

SGA did not record a single stat in OT. Not even a shot attempt. I've never seen a superstar Tony Snell a playoff OT.

must win for both teams, gm 4 winner probably wins the series

Why didn’t we have this thread honoring MPJ after he shot 3-18 in the first two games?

This feels like the Lakers Denver series all over again. Denver wins all the close games as long as they keep it close in the 4th. The only way for the Lakers to win was to blow them out, same as this OKC team. Any close games in the 4th and the Nuggets lock it down and win.

Don’t blame SGA. Thunder have been the second best team of the second round. They’re just going up against 6 healthy clutch assassins.
