The difference is the Celtics are simply making their shots now....

We are not pressuring them on the perimeter. That’s the difference. At some point, they are going to make open shots but the lack of desire to play defense is on the Knicks. They are just waiting instead of pressuring the Celtics.

Protecting the paint is more important than guarding the perimeter. That's our defensive scheme

I hope all this going up 2-0 doesn’t benefit Thibs , he still can’t operate a simple pnr offense … if they loose this series then he definitely should be shown the door with future season tickets in hand

Yeah being down by 20pts and each game is not going to cut it. Eventually the Celtics will figure it out and not let the knicks back in the game. They'll make a small run but end up losing in the end. Knicks just suck at home.

It's honestly shameful that diehards are priced out. The crowd energy is ass too. Feels like Barclay's.

When I was at Game 6 of the 1986 World Series at Shea the stadium was full of people who got tickets from their companies. Even though it turned into one of the most epic games in baseball history and the place exploded in the final innings, Shea was dead quiet until then. The Mets were down by a run in the 7th inning and 25% of the crowd headed for the exits and I was yelling at them WTF are you going you losers? More than half of the attendees were not really fans. Probably the same thing here. Hedge funds and comp tix from work.
