If you're a Valkyries fan, I don't know how many games they'll win this year, but it seems clear they are in good hands.

This is such a fun team. Great ball movement. Great off-ball movement. Even in the first half when they couldn't hit anything, they were getting good looks. Incredibly unselfish. They play some beautiful basketball.

Nakase seems to clearly be the right coach.

They may not have the star yet, but they are loaded with really good players that are so fun to root for.
PG is a weak spot for a lot of teams. Valks have 3 good ones and Chen (please sweet baby Jesus I hope she makes it, she had some big moments last night). I suspect Vanloo will ultimately be the starter, but Burton is solid. Vanloo is perfect for an unselfish team moving the ball. Carla Leite is going to be a stud. Her chemistry with Linskins is fantastic.
Tip, Mo, and Kayla are studs. Dallas really could use Mo this year. Temi really turned the 3rd quarter on a couple defensive stops.
And Money Martin, of course. She started slow, but kept making plays. Then hit the big 3 that changed the momentum.
Amihere could be a real gem. Great footwork in the paint, can knock down 3's.

It's hard to imagine many wins against the big 4 teams, but they are going to win more games than people think. That depth and smart unselfish basketball is going to knock off a lot more middle of the pack teams than people think.

Not gonna say how many I really think because I could look really foolish. But if you're a GSV fan, you've absolutely got the right coach and right direction.

Paopao is looking fantastic. I think she was fairly safe to make the team, but you never know. And with Jordin Canada being hurt, the Dream are going to need her to play well.

If this team can stay healthy, it's certainly going to be interesting to see how they do. Griner and Bri both hit a 3 today. Bri was putting on a clinic for while. The league is going away from double bigs, so this will be an interesting experiment.

Fever are so damn good.

Well, Hermes, you don't have to worry about Dorka not making the roster. She's skipping the 2025 WNBA season for personal reasons.

Don't know what that means, but I hope all is well with her, or is getting there. It sounds like it may be a rest issue.

Some good news for the W in general. Satou Sabally and Gabby WIlliams are skipping Eurobasket this year. Hopefully, some others follow suit.

For Satou, it sounds like it's might because Germany doesn't have to qualify for the World Cup. For Gabby, you'd have to think the new CBA is a factor. If you are looking to get paid in 2026, putting up a monster season and not skipping June seems like a good idea.

Malonga now also skipping EuroBasket, which is huge and surprising. Love this kid. Aces and Sparks are going to look like such fools for passing on this kid.

Satou has the Germany reason. Gabby has the contract reason hoping for a payday in 2026. Malonga's only reason is that she wants to focus on playing against the best in the world.

It's so great for the W in general with some big time players skipping EuroBasket this year.

Fantastic. I hope they stay in Connecticut, but however it goes, the important thing is that the league loses one cheap owner.

The league is past the point of having cheap owners.

Losing her is going to hurt, but I think Cheryl has done it again,

Karlie, Badiane, Shepard, and a healthy Diamond look fantastic. They lost Dorka and Zandalasini, but they are still going to be deep as hell.
Wouldn't be shocked to see BC take the leap. She looks dialed in.

Some fun PS games with the Sky.

I stand by the call for Steph White to win COY, but I could see Tyler Marsh getting in the mix. Sky have so much better ball movement (even in a game without Sloot). I don't know if the team can make the Playoffs, but he's got them looking really good
