OG with 2 pts and 6 shots not sure what was up with him?

Hart was miserable...he showed no interst in shooting and took some crazy drives into there size to get blocked and start fast breaks.

Mikal was blah...somewhat efficient but they need to run more action for him.

Mitch was horrible.

I think we need to play more Deuce especially since he is making shots...we need to attempt more 3's.

As a guy that's been hating on Deuce, I was screaming at the TV when Thibs took Deuce out for Hart when it was down 20 with about 8 or so minutes to go.

Bridges and Anunoby combined for 14 point on 7-16 shooting, 0-4 from 3 along with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. I don’t think they attempted a free throw.

This team isn’t deep enough to have that combined stat line from them. That should be a below average game from ONE of them.

I will say that there are very few people I would ever want in the trenches with me when the fit hits the shan.

Forest for the trees, lose the battle, win the war, etc.

Sports becomes too much of a proxy for real life
Yet you will not lose your life if you lose a game or a series
This ain't Gaza or The Sudan

If it won't kill you whatever the ultimate outcome is you can also ride with the team without defining every obstacle as the outcome

Smarter basketball minds are saying KAT defense in the 1st half is the reason for 71 points.

both sides of the ball. celtics defense took us out of rhythm, then created offense... like we were doing.

very true. i think because of foultrouble on KAT and Mich quite early, it hit our defense hard. we didnt find the rotations and i also didnt see a lot of switching with kat.

i liked precious' minutes tho. i wouldnt have minded seeing him a bit more to be honest, he looked to be in the right spots at least.

We won those games because we were tenacious and didn't give up and made the clutch plays to win

I don't care if we sucked today. That doesn't give anyone the right to say we didn't deserve to win the first 2 games

yes, guard.

thanks for everything, thibs.

This will be the 2nd All-Star Thibs created, that will look like utter $h!t when he's no longer a Knick. Randle was an All-Star his entire tenure under Thibs...a dud elsewhere. That is his trajectory.

And let’s be honest, Monday is the biggest game of Jalen Brunson’s career. He’s been bad this series. But he’s got to put the team on his back and get back to Boston up 3-1.

If we are being honest with ourselves we should be down 3-0 right now. But we are up 2-1. Monday is a must win game.

Monday is probably the game some people were painting today as. Momentum will belong to the winner.

Today won't matter so much if we win on Monday.

If you told me we'd be up 2-1 after 3 games I'd happily take it. Obviously today was a dud but I think we bounce back in game 4. We'd better, anyway.

We will be the reason they break up their team

So if you’re Thibs, you make sure you pull all stops to prevent it. That’s not how he approaches it though

He’s satisfied with the two wins

No he’s not

I’ll re-phrase — he is not coaching G3 like you can lose the series today

He was lazy, didn't see him giving much effort. Wasting time having conversations with Rick instead of trying.

Someone made a good point that Mikal and OG and Hart were scrambling a lot because they didn't know where the defensive help was coming from (if at all).

We just have to find a way to keep Mitch on the floor more. A lot of us already know one way is putting him at the start of quarters. Thibs has done well this series but I hope he becomes more experimental with things like this. There is no shame in changing one’s starting lineup.

Whatever you say about the chemistry or Thibs, or whatever the critique or angle you look at it from, nobody is going to tell you Mikal at 12 points, OG at 2, KAT at 1 for 4, is going to win you a game

Complete bottoming out when you should be on top of the world

Just look at us being up 2-1 as a blessing we didn’t expect. Put it in perspective.
