Getting game 4 and having 3 chances to close it out if Steph comes back is going to be huge.

Great win..withstood the big games from both Kuminga & Jimmy and also a good 3 pt shooting night from Warriors. Before the start of the series, I wasn't expecting Kuminga to be a big factor but Steph's injury changed things...I really doubt Kuminga would have been a big factor if Steph was playing

Not sure what it’s gonna take for Finch to give Clark a shot, dude is all energy and defense. He couldn’t have been any worse than those two today.

Clark has zero ballhandling and we can't afford that if he were to replace NAW or DDV in the rotation.
Finch played him a lot as a smallball 4 when Julius and Rudy were out.

Say what you will about NAW and his shooting, he has at least been able to fix his turnover problems from last year's playoffs where we couldnt even rely on him to bring the ball up the court.

Dante was on the wrong end of a couple of awful flops tonight.
He's been really guilty of trying to force a lot of offense in the playoffs and has not been able to find the balance between aggressiveness and irrational confidence.

I did not see what you did. NAW crumbled under pressure every time handling the ball tonight. He provided nothing out there.

Reading what the Warriors fans are saying (especially on twitter) is very interesting because its “the wolves are not that impressive” because we arent blowing them out by 50 without Steph Curry and forgetting that they have one of the top defensive teams in the league even without him.

Butler and Kuminga both dropped 30, they were at home and had the crowd behind them, played a desperate “we need this” defense, and still lost

The Wolves haven’t even played that well, but are getting it done. The first half of this game specifically was terrible, the most annoying part of all this is Steph’s unfortunate injury doesnt automatically mean the Dubs defense falls off a cliff, but the Warriors fans and third party people think they just turn into cones and the Wolves are supposed to just score at will?

I feel like Randle coudl have 20+ assists if Edwards and others could hit open shots before qtr. Conley gave everything in defense, but his is an obvious mismatch and hit his floater game completely went away

Idk but GSW have weird combination of some flopping and dirty plays (mostly Green).

I really can’t seem to find the words to explain this series. On the one hand we are playing way below are standard of basketball. On the other hand, we did just enough to win 2 games, and should have won game 1, but for a tremendous lack of effort in the 3rd quarter. I predicted us winning this series, and when Steph went down it seems to be a given. Better still, Denver might actually finish OKC for us. I think we have Denver’s number, and will probably hang our first ever WCC banner. We might even be good enough to hang the NBA Championship banner. That said, we won’t win either series playing like this. Our bench had 11 points, Naz had 9. Rudy cannot tap into his offense anywhere close to consistently, and his teammates don’t pass him the ball up high. Jaden took 7 shots to tonight. He was 4 of 7, 3 of 4 from deep, 4 of 4 from the line, for 15 points. He must be more involved in the offense for us to reach our potential. Ant’s first half, and to a degree Randle’s first half were not good enough. While Randle had 13 points he only had 2 rebounds and 3 assists while being embarrassed on defense.

I love the win, I am hopeful for the series win, but I am fearful that we cannot go where we should if we continue to play below what we are capable of.

They have been playing down to competetion and teams missing stars all season, no surprise it’s happening still, this is what Finch teams do during most of his coaching tenure. Wolves will look a LOT better against the Thunder or Nuggets if those teams stay healthy.

Just look the second in replay as couldn't watch live. I feel i was 15 year ago and watch a Grizz game. Ugly but full of Grin and Grind. Not nice to watch but the energy we put in defense make our opponents totally out of gas at clutch time. This is the way we beat Lakers and we do it again with GSW. Let's get some good rest, come with the same level of intensity and we will be fine. Go Wolves!

Definitely important to close this series in five. If it gets to game six and Stephen Curry is healthy enough to play, Minnesota has a pretty solid chance of choking away the series.

I just think the Wolves have had a really tough time adjusting to a chasm of difference in physicality, BBIQ and unpredictability that the Warriors bring compared to the Lakers. As long as they can dispatch them quickly in 5 games and don't get exhausted it should really bode well for the next round(s). It doesn't get more confusing than this from now on.

Donte must be worst 3 pt shooting player so far in playoffs... Before every game, I keep thinking that he might finally catch fire once but nah, he has been disappointing offensively so far in playoffs. Also whenever he drives into the paint and tries to make an interior pass, I keep fearing it will end up as a turnover. Bench was supposed to be the strength but only Naz has shown flashes

I’m not a fan of Dante’s go big or go home approach.

-He can only play one speed and it’s out of control. Zero change of pace.

-Seems like every single three he attempts is a long distance heave.

Maybe too much ego in him.

I am more concerned about Reid and DDV fouling, both struggle with early fouls which won't help in finding shooting rhythm.

The bench needs to show up. NAW had a 20 pt game but overall the 3 seems not effective for what ever reason. We are back to more hero ball. Randle, Ant, and Gobert (in spots) are the only ones playing reasonably well. We have to use JMcD on offense more in the GSW series (that is my eye test as I usually don't read box scores in playoffs, partly because we aren't in playoffs much :D )

I believe we have 4 consecutive playoff seasons and looking like 2 WCFs. We are in the playoffs much in recent history.
