I have an idea for Francis, let's send him down to single A.

It's the The Roy Halladay regiment. When he gets back to the big league, watch out.

Yes.

Honestly though it makes no difference. They started sucking, didn’t watch the past few games, found out they lost those games to the angels then won 2, so I decided to watch some of last nights game while they were down 3-2 and watched the entire comeback from there. It honestly makes no difference, just do what’s better for your sanity.

Didn’t we already send him back down a couple of times? I think we just need to stop expecting so much from him.

Some of us change our opinions when presented with new evidence

Others stick stubbornly to their opinions for years despite all evidence to the contrary

Which would you have me be?

New evidence being the first month of a season compared to multiple previous seasons of information?

So Andrea gimenez with his 195 average and 577 ops is still a valuable player or no

Why did we take out the Starting pitcher?!? It's only the 3rd F*cking inning!

Wasting the bullpen again. Urena was going along fairly well, but let's go with the other retread who there is no guarantee will be decent. **** these planned starts.

I am generally pro analytics. But this particular analytical based strategy is dumb. Its based on pitchers performance being totally homogenous from game to game. Which is stupid -- if it were the case we would just let a good starter pitch to his pitch limit every game.

It was probably pre-planned based on the analytics that batters do better the second time through. Its freaking stupid.

It totally disregards the fact that he was doing well enough, and his replacement is a borderline AAA/MLB pitcher for which there is no guarantee will be on today. It also blows through an already tired pen by taking out a long guy.
