He's the de facto MVP , they cant have their entire seasons' narrative be exposed like that.

The officiating in general was okay this game but the way SGA goes out of his way to hunt contact and gets it invariably, while very obviously pushing off on all of his midrange shots - even called out by the ESPN guys ffs - whoever sees that and pretends the officiating is the same for all 10 guys on the floor is either completely clueless or a "fan".

Even if thunder pulls this game off, and the also pulls off the series... they have been exposed. Sga's sample size of efg has gotten large enough to show he isn’t a playoff guy. Same for J Williams.

His RS efg was .567. Playoffs was .531.

By far, this was the worst postseason of Jokic's career. Out of 11 games, he was great in only 3, and bad to average in the other 8. The standard he set was high and he failed to live up to it.

It's disappointing to see, but it also means this team is basically going to get blown up after this.

Yep. And unlike previous years this one is completely on him. He’s got help from teammates, he’s just not played like an MVP
