if dort plays anything above 20 minutes again this series i'm going to lose it.

caruso, cason and wiggins need to be playing a whole lot more.

Which "board" are you reading? I see 20 "Jokic is trash/got exposed/is the worst" comments for one "SGA could have been better". The reality is, both are so good that the entire defense has zeroed in on them, and mostly SGA got more help than Jokic (except for one game). Today, the two max players Murray and MPJ were completely useless despite being wide open. And its so common that i predicted it.

Jokic has been completely useless for 3 straight games, stop making excuses. If LeBron put up the dismal shooting numbers Jokic was putting up you'd be making threads about it

We would have 5-7 Lebron threads by this point discrediting prime Lebron. Trust me, I was there.

Granted Lebron was actually GOAT level.

Btw, I was very high on OKC and still am, but their braindead offensive tendencies are terrible, and I don't know if they could get away with it against a Celtics or even a Cavs (they would probably beat Wolves and Knicks).

OkC has not looked close to being a juggernaut except for 1 game this series. If Jokic didn’t have 3 stinkers in a row, Denver is looking to close out next game.

When was the last time LeBron was double / triple teamed? He choked vs. the wolves in single coverage.

When was the last time you heard Jokic call himself the GOAT?

Stop it.

The game was won on depth, Caruso, Wallace and Wiggins were great off the bench.

MPJ was +15, what do we read into that? It feels like you're selectively picking stats here.

Shai played 39 minutes and Jokic 42. Before that Gordon 3 and JDub trip to the line, Jokic's +/- was 0 while SGA's was +8. Depth helps, but in the playoffs the shot takers matter most. I love Jokic, but he needed to be better today. SGA did his job while he was on the floor.

And if it was not for that fluke game 1, OKC would be going into game 5 up 3-1.

This season also could be Jokic’s last chance to win another title with Denver. I don’t think Denver’s smart enough to build another contender around him in the same way I don’t think the Bucks are smart enough to build another contender around Giannis. And to be frank I really don’t trust any franchises anymore to build multiple title winners around the elite, elite players. The only ones I may trust are the Heat and the Spurs and maybe the Celtics/Stevens if they ever got another truly elite player. Other franchises nowadays just waste primes of the greats

Yes but unlike Embiid, Jokic has actual postseason accomplishments, performs to his ability far more often than not, and doesn't consistently lose series his team is favored to win.

He's earned some grace so he'll get it. If he fails to get out of the 2nd round for a decade and chokes while doing it, I'm sure he'll start to see the Embiid treatment.

Soft. I take back my Kobe comparisons.

He's great but he lacks the fire. Guys like ANT and Brunson don't lack it.

Jokic last 3 games:
- 6/16
- 8/25
- 7/22

But the Nuggets only problem is their depth?

Underperforming doesn't make you trash. Being completely serious, both SGA and Jokic have been embarrassing for their standards but overall? Still two of the better players in recent memory. They are definitely **** the bed a bit but y know most stars do at some point

??? It's been the exact opposite. Jokic propagandists are crazy man

Stats = "Propaganda" apparently . Hilarious.

Murray: 5/16
Westbrook: 2/12
MPJ: 1/7
Braun: 4/10
Watson: 1/3

Literally all of them shot poorly. And most of these are on WIDE OPEN looks generated by Joker too. These numbers are "Propaganda" though, right?

I never said Joker was playing well (he wasn't and has been horrible this series). I said he had to take over if they wanted any chance to win the game because his "shooters" couldn't throw it in the ocean on wide open shot attempts, which they couldn't.

So it looks like the efficiency of the stars is down across the board. Should we be crediting the physicality and defence? or just calling everyone trash?
