Suicide attempt? It wasn't like he was leaning over the rail and lost his balance. Looks like he launched himself.

Yeah, that’s awesome. Humility for the win, but don’t be too tough on yourself buddy!

Devin had 3 good outings. Tonight he comes in the 8th with a 3-0 lead. Strikeout, walk, single, strikeout, walk. Gets pulled. SD scores 4

I know he's been struggling but that seems like misuse. He'd work himself into and then get out of jams like once a week.

Not sure how much longer NY puts up with it. Boone seems to have his back but fans patience is -1 million right now.

Curious if the Red Sox make a call to us on Hoskins after the Casas injury and an urgency to fill the 1B gap. And if yes, wonder what level of motivation Arnold has to make a deal.

Devers turning down first base is insane, frankly. I know he wasn't happy about giving up third base for Bregman, but do your team a solid, man. You're being paid $300M+ and are under contract for another decade. There's no risk that your career will be hurt by trying a new position. But your legacy will be.

Feels like both sides are in the wrong here. He was apparently promised when he signed that extension that they'd keep him at 3b, and then also kept telling him all offseason he'd be their third basemen. And then they signed Bregman. So I get why he wouldn't exactly be happy. But at the same time he's got $300 guarenteed and helping at 1b doesn't seem like a big ask

Former Brewers farmhand Bradley Blalock gave up 12 ER tonight for the Rockies. Ouch

That's about as close as it gets while still being able to be overturned, even in slow motion so it's kind of awesome that he's pissed at himself for missing a play that close but also, dude, it's not a huge deal that you missed that one lol.

That Kris Bryant contract is an albatross for Colorado. 7Y 187M with no trade clause. He has missed 70% of games since 2022 and well below career norms when playing. I thought he was HOF bound when with Cubs, absolutely fell off a cliff.
