Atkinson at this point just a regular season coach but no reason yet not to think he can get better with more experience. Carlisle also an excellent coach and proven champion who won a title despite being an underdog in the Finals.

I just want ONE NIGHT like that, preferably tomorrow night at the garden

It’s a big gap in terms of flow and willingness to let it fly
Thibs’ scowls add up
Payne hardly plays bc he plays like the Pacers do

Thibs has never been a coach capable of motivating his players to have a killer instinct mindset.

I think you guys are overrating the talent. This is the second coach they have, and Bickerstaff actually took a team in Detroit on a scrappy 6 game series against us. We've played him twice in the playoffs now so we can start making comparisons, and I can tell you that I am much more impressed with his Detroit team than his Cleveland team.
Against the Pistons, the story was that they only had the best player in the series. Against the Cavs, the story was they had 4 of the best 5 players in the series. But again, the Pistons showed up much better against the Knicks. So yea...the Cavs might be "talented" but if your talent keeps sucking it up in the playoffs, how talented are you really? Evidently they do not have "too much talent to be getting embarrassed like this" because it's happened several times.
