After Games 1 and 2, I heard Tatum should be like Spida Mitchell.

So great a scorer but never been to the conference finals, even when they were the #1 seed in 2021.

I don't think Spida is legit because he's just too small.

He's defensive liability.

I think it's not a fair comparison.

Tatum is a Ferrari.

Spida is a Toyota or Honda.

Just not the same level.

Cavs fans must be so pissed right now.

What happened to defending "The Land", right?

Our season could go down in flames tomorrow as well. This game should be an example for the Celtics tomorrow but we always get jekyll and Hyde with them.

The Cavaliers have Won just one Championship.
The Celtics have 18.

Any comparison between the two, is unwarranted.

We talking about now those last two celtics championships have also come during a large gap going back to 86. Basically two ships in 38 years.

Doesn't matter. You don't Win 18 by accident.
Has not as much to do with the present Team, as it does with the history and just plain Celtic Pride.

If you really think about it, the Celtics dominating the regular season, last year, and went on a historic postseason run, makes you appreciate more what a special season we had last year.

Look at the Cavs and OKC now.

I'm really thankful for how Banner 18 was won.

Really made me so happy because 2010 is suddenly not so painful anymore.

It’s not even a Celtics game & you’re talking about Joe.

Rent free lol

Because I am first and foremost, a lover of the game of basketball and the purity of the right way to play.

The fact that you get so sensitive about anyone. Talking about joe is quite laughable in my opinion.

Are you related to him just curious?

Is it too hard to admit that joe has so many flaws?

Even when presented with actual evidence, you go in denial.

Speaking of rent free, I guess anyone who comes up with a negative comment on joe lives in your rent free head.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Yeah it is.

I think that Grousbeck and Stevens have made this Team a bit Injury Proof.
We have basically 6 Starters. And also, a fairly decent Bench.

This is great because this will be a reminder to the Celtics for tomorrow.

A preview of what will happen if the Cs don't show up, ready to fight.

I am still anxious because of Games 1 & 2.

JUST WIN.

PLAY SMART.

WE ARE A MUCH MUCH BETTER TEAM!

Pacers are legit. Controversial, but I believe they would have won the chip last year if they didn’t meet us. Cavs can still beat them, but what the NBA needs to know and what I have been saying, the Pacers were a very good team last season. We barely scraped by them last time and it seems like we were playing much better basketball than we are this season.

Pacers keep coming like roaches. Kind of like the Heat with healthy Jimmy, top notch fitness. They dont tire easily. Could be their youth, young people go and go.

And the bench has already won us a playoff game, Game 3 on the road.

PP and Luke were contributors in that Game 3.

Barely scraped by them?

I understand what you're saying, Pacers are tough and legit, but the maximum damage you can inflict on a playoff opponent is a sweep.

Cs swept the Pacers in the ECF, so it's really a stretch to say we barely scraped by them.

Cavs stunked up the joint. I think the pacers match up well with the cavs.

Pacers vs Knicks ECF possible? Are we back to the 90s?

When it comes to bench contribution from this Cs team, you really have to lower expectations because like Parl said, this is a decent bench, not a great bench.

So every game where PP, Luke, and Sam contribute, that's already a big boost.

I’m talking about the score in each game, all but one of the games IIRC, were 4th Q double digit comebacks. They were clearly our toughest opponent.

Dang near each game was a ball roll or made/missed bucket from giving them confidence they could beat us. I think beating Cavs g1 gave them the confidence they missed out on vs us. I’m not sure what would have happened had we not escaped with g1.

True.

But law of averages favor the Pacers getting atleast 1 win in the 3 close games that they played.

Never happened.

So maybe the Pacers need a closer like Brunson.

Return to Boston Celtics
