Only if the Kings get there act together. As of now they are at the #10 pick. :nonono:

Nolan Traore | Saint-Quentin | PG

Size: 6'4", 184 lbs
Age: 18
Nationality: France
Pro Comparisons: Lonzo Ball

Saint-Quentin moved Nolan Traore to the bench as he's struggled with his shot and finishes. His playmaking has been consistent, though, and scouts will likely remain confident in his potential to run offense and facilitate off-ball screens with pacing and passing IQ.

As a scorer, he's still getting to spots and creating decent opportunities into pull-ups and lay-ups. Though not explosive, his open-floor speed, change of pace and tight handle remain effective.

Scouts will be debating how much of his 35.1 percent field-goal mark is tied to problematic shooting, athletic limitations or simply age, being an 18-year-old guard in a Pro A.

Nolan's shooting this season has been historically abysmal.

He's a helluva play maker, ballhandler. But he may be shooting himself into the 2nd round of the draft.

This kid was projected as a top-10 pick before the season. He's struggled so much shooting the ball in the months since, he now is likely not even a top-20 draftee.

Hawks went to see him in person a couple of months ago. He should be available with that Lakers pick.

Kid played so poorly early that he fell from the top-10 of most NBA Draft Boards.

Could he be in play to be selected by Atlanta in the 20s? That's be incredible value, for sure.

Just a reminder: Traore, a year ago, was getting comparisons of SGA.

Korver and other Hawks scouts went to France to see him live and in-person 6 months ago.

If Nolan's there, take him #22 and don't second guess it.

Nolan-Dyson-Zacch would be a really awesome trio of young players to develop long term.
Elite role players who fit wonderfully and could complement a top-end, veteran front court player.

Experienced pro. Two way contributor.
Once seen as a top-6 draft candidate. He likely has the highest ceiling of prospects projected to be available at #13.

Strengths/weaknesses sound a bit similar to Dennis Schroeder coming into the draft.
A better passing, better defending DS sounds like a solid PG prospect.

12 months ago, Nolan was in the top-5 conversation. Considered in a tier right beside VJ Edgecomb and Dylan Harper.

After a rough start to the season against pros, Traore picked it up at season's end and looks like a star again.

Take him at #13 and don't look back.

Another Frenchman? Our 1st one turned out to be kinda good, didn't he!

Does he replace Bufkin? If so, where does Kobe go?

That's a really good question.

Hawks have been trying to turn Kobe Bufkin into a Point Guard for years. It's been painful to watch.

I like Nolan more as a pure backup PG and Kobe as a defensive combo guard.

Players typically raise their shooting percentage from the 30% range to being a great shooter from the field.
