Milwaukee will probably want cap relief, young players, and picks.

If Giannis’s camp is the source and they’re sending out feelers then this is still Giannis wanting his cake and eating it too. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Giannis really doesn’t want to leave Milwaukee and he’s hoping some team or someone convinces him to leave. Why send out feelers or any of this? If there’s a specific team or list of teams he wants to go to all he has to do is tell the Bucks he wants out and this is where he wants to go and this is where he doesn’t want to go. We’ve seen countless stars and elite players make it very clear right away when they want out and where they want to go. He’s still playing the passive aggressive “do I stay or go” game he’s been doing every year since ‘21.

Ultimately it still seems like he really doesn’t want to make this decision. I don’t know if it’s cause he fears some backlash from Bucks fans or he feels he would’ve failed Milwaukee by not spending his whole career there or the fact that he prides himself on being different than other stars or what.

Lebron for GIannis straight up.

Milwaukee GM: "It just makes sense. I'm trying to position our team to be the best it can be, and we believe we've done that. I don't understand the hate."

Because Shams has legit sources and 9/10 he gets his info and insight from an interested party (Giannis and his camp, in this instance) feeding him the info, using the media to advance a certain agenda

I'm kind of confused what the agenda is, though. I'm pretty sure he could ask the Bucks for a trade privately if he wanted one, and they'd work together with him. He also doesn't prefer to do things through the media. It's way too early for negotiations to have broken down to that point I'd think.

they would probably explore trades but it might not be to the markets that he wants to play in. he also doesn't want a "giannis asks Bucks for a trade" story getting leaked to the media - which it absolutely would if he "privately" asks for a trade. leaking a "giannis to explore best fits" story allows him to test the waters and control the narrative instead of the organization controlling the narrative. it also allows him to have control over which market he will eventually get traded to. in a few weeks or months you will see more leaks about Giannis only wants to play in x y or z markets. that's the best way for a player to control where he gets traded to while he still has multiple years left on his contract.

Im guessing hes trying to feel out he public's (bucks fans) temperature on asking out. Im sure the whole Luka fiasco got other players on notice.

Austin Reaves will be the franchise player of Milwaukee Bucks starting next season. this dude is capable to run an offense and averaged 27.9 ppg, 8.3 apg, 6.6 rpg in 64 TS% while shooting 43% 3PT in 8 attempts per game without LeBron(9 games).

Smaller sample size but in 2 games without Bron and AD before Luka, he averaged 41.0 ppg, 10.0 apg, 7.5 rpg, 3.5 spg in 68 TS% while shooting 43% 3PT in 9.5 attempts per game.

+Jared Vanderbilt

-Rui Hachimura

-Dalton Knetch

-Shake Milton

-Jordan Goodwin

-2031 unprotected FRP

-2027 FRP(if landed on 1-4, Utah will take 5-30)

-2026, 2028, 2030, 2032 First Round pick swap

-whatever's available on 2025-2032 Second Round pick

-Lakers will also sign every single Antetokounmpos who can shoot, pass and dribble.

If I’m Miami I’m not doing that for a 30 year old Giannis. Paolo will be a superstar and Gianis will decline hard once that athleticism fades.

If you’re Miami you don’t have Paolo to trade

Everything was a 100% go on that trade until the last condition... Sorry but those Antetokounmpos's don't exist.

Misery likes company huh? How’s that cap sheet for the 76ers again? Enjoy paying PG13 and Embiid max contracts for the next few seasons

And Houston desperately needs scoring. This is the trade that makes the most sense.

Celtics offer Jaylen Brown/Kristaps Porzingis/Sam Hauser

Bucks send: Giannis/Dame

Gets the Bucks off the Dame contract and keeps the Bucks competitive. Gives the Celtics a new look and some cap flexibility after Dame expires.

A zero percent chance of it happening but I thought it was interesting.

If you believe these reports then it was said the Bucks rejected a Luka for Giannis deal. Are you going to be consistent on these rumor reports?

Yeah, MIL refused that 3 months ago. things obviously can change, Giannis can demand a trade soon... D'uh. You think MIL refuse to trade for Luka after Giannis demands a trade, wtf?

MIL trading for Luka would just be a 1 year rental because theres no chance Luka signs an extension to stay in that dumpster fire

Lakers aren't trading for the older, non-playmaker superstar. Their whole aim was to get the next LeBron and presumably pair him with an elite 2 way finisher,m.
