The nhl had its lottery last night, and they did the actual ball drawing shown on tv. the drew for the 1st pick first and then the 2nd pick. (nhl only draws for 2 picks and teams can move up max 10 spots)
little anticlimactic, the 14th team moved up to 4th, the 10th team won the lottery. there was no build up like the usual way, oh this team has moved up to the top 4, and we will see the results after the break.

they did add a little intrigue, like after the 1st ball these teams now have this %, after 2nd ball the % are now etc.

No official word yet, but the rumour is it will be Masai.

Ujiri himself will be looking forward. It’s expected that the Raptors president and vice-chairman will represent the team at the lottery, a departure from years past. It speaks to how significant the lottery could be in the Raptors' immediate future, and maybe — as Ujiri heads into the last year of his contract — an opportunity that won’t come his way again.
