I stayed up until 1:30 last night because around 11:00 am I just got to a point with CS:E33 where I needed to keep seeing what was going to happen. This morning was rough. I'd like to say it won't happen again tonight but I'm just starting Act 3 and I'm even more invested.

CS:E33 is next on my list as soon as I finish my 100+ hours in Oblivion. If not more.

But man, hearing the overwhelmingly amazing things about CS:E33 has me jacked. I haven't been hooked on a TBS game since Skies of Arcadia (yea, that's a throwback).

Game looks astoundingly good lol. It's hard to believe that can possibly be true.

I didn't want to start something new before an upcoming two-week trip, but I was looking for an Oblivion break after going hard. Decided to check out the new subclasses in BG3. They are so much fun, y'all. I've tried Arcane Archer (Tav), Bladesinger (Gale), and I'll for sure be turning Karlach into that throwing Barb once I get to her.

If there is a dev that can do it, it's Rockstar. Literally will be the game of the decade.

Rockstar lost all their goodwill with me with Red Dead 2. I've never clicked with GTA so when I bounced off of GTA V I figured it was another case of the series not being for me. But I loved RDR as much as any game released this century. Have played it from start to finish at least a dozen times. I absolutely hated RDR 2. I thought it was tedious and a chore to play. Bad characters, lousy story, a total slog with the gameplay crap you have to put up with. Got through it once and never picked it up again.

They found the composer for the game off of like Craigslist or some ****. This game is an impossible masterpiece.

I've been craving a good racing game recently. I know F1 2025 is coming out, but I'm also looking at picking up GT7. I'm also thinking about picking up the logitech G29 racewheel. This would be for a PS5 setup, and I'd probably get a stand to use on my couch for the racewheel. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm definitely the last person you could call a fan of racers, but I had a really good time with Forza Horizon 5.

I didn't realize it just got a PS5 release. Nice.

I'm rewatching IGN's review (10/10) and it's hitting me just how much I missed despite playing for probably 40-50 hours.

GT7 is so **** good. I probably sank 100 hours into it and I'm sure it's gotten even more content since release. A car enthusiast's dream. Peak GT.

I can also vouch for Horizon 7, which I probably sank 30-40 into. It's just a totally different experience - arcade vs sim, so pick your poison (or double-dip!).

Did you play GT7 using a race wheel or using a controller? I think it would be fun to use a wheel, but it seems like a decent setup would set me back a few hundred.

I just use the DS5. I thought about a setup like you're talking about too, but ultimately decided that I'd need to play GT/other racing games as like my 'main thing' to be able to justify the investment.

https://www.techradar.com/gaming/nintendo-now-says-it-can-disable-your-switch-or-potentially-even-your-new-switch-2-if-you-dont-follow-its-user-agreement

Nintendo updated their EULA to make it so they can brick your system at will, in response to the jailbreaks/piracy from Switch 1.

4 or 5 chapters in DOOM so far and it's a ton of fun. The shield is a great addition.

Picked up FH5 on PS5 and I'm having a blast. I had played it a little on an xbox a year or so ago and it's just so much fun. So much content! I wish I really knew where to put my focus. I got in the HOF and have prioritized the weekly festivals so far.

My only complaint with the game on ps5 is that because it utilizes a microsoft account connecting with your friends the first time can be a little tricky. It seems once they are on your friendslist it's not as difficult but maybe not as simple as native ps5 titles.

Nonetheless absolutely enjoying the game. I also enjoyed GT7, though I'm not the greatest at it.
