They clearly rigged this lotto after the fiasco of the Luka trade. What a horrendous outcome. They just need to go back to the old system. There is no way for our tier of teams like Charlotte, us, the Jazz, etc to ever compete.

I have to admit to a sense of morbid curiosity: might it actually be possible for me to root for the Wizards my entire life, and never witness a championship?

(Not counting the championship they won when I was 5 years old.)

The fact that Dallas gets Flagg and SAS gets Harper to go with Wemby is just the twist of the knife

#6 Pick.

No brainer.

Count me in. If Queen is still there at #6, you pick him.
The bad part is I won't be surprised if Queen is gone by #6.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

The only bottom 4 team record wise is given the 4th pick. What are the odds of this outcome? Very suspiciously rigged

At least more of the top tier talent like Flagg & Harper went west. At least we're in the Leastern Conference. Have no sympathy for the Jazz and their sham tanking. We were at least playing all of our young players. Sad for us and the Hornets. We'll never be good.

The joke is that tanking is for losers. We had an 86% chance of not getting the first pick and well, we got screwed but for us and Utah, karma is a bitch. While I do want a top 8 pick next season and do not want to give that up, I guess the fact that we didn't get Flagg or Harper, gives us a great opportunity to suck again. But don't worry about being the worst or bottom three. I'm not going to gripe about beating a team in November.

They had a 1.8% chance to win. That's insane.

I think this is sadly a possibility…

Yeah not sure I can continue to support a team in a clearly rigged league. They're just in your face with it now and don't care at all.

I’m officially out on the NBA and the Wizards. No more time, no more anything. Next years lottery which is better is the last time I’ll consider coming back. You simply can’t ———— over fan bases for half a century like this and reward franchises like the spurs decade after decade after decade w/once a decade caliber prospects. The flattening of the odds wasn’t an anti-tanking measure, it was a pro flagship franchises and big markets measure to reward them during a season of injury related dips. ———— this league.

No bottom four team in the top three of the lottery. Nate, what were the odds of that outcome?
