I had the same thought. I don't think it's rigged, but with the Mavs winning it does give me pause.

I didn't think the Bulls would actually win, but I am disappointed that the Mavs got it.

EDIT: Plus the Spurs got #2. Grrr.

First I was mad because the Bulls lost a coin flip to the Mavs, then I realized it wouldn’t have mattered because it’s rigged anyway.

Happy for Dallas fans who got trade raped this season. Also happy Philly didn't get 1 or 2.

So back to rooting against small forward Derrick Queen lasting til 12.

This one hurts.

Mavs were going top 4 no matter what

Rigged ain’t even the word for this

This was set in stone the day they traded Luka

Yes, I'm sure all the other owners are fine with the lottery being rigged against them.

And for some reason the league wouldn't rig it more often for the freaking Chicago Bulls or New York Knicks. Sure thing.

Yeah, I don't actually think it's rigged but it's a funny situation for sure.

Who can the Bulls send to LA to get the no. 1 pick next year?

IDK. This just feels like an unproductive exercise at this point. You can lose all you want. It doesn’t guarantee anything and I’m pretty sure that’s been proven several times over at this point.

The draft lottery is not fixed come on. If anyone found out the NBA was rigging drafts the league would be done for or at least severely damaged. No one would ever take the league seriously again.

So it was a handshake deal. Help save the lakers for the next 10 years and get Cooper Flagg to save face.

This is the 2nd time the Bulls got screwed over by a coin toss. The last time they won it against the Kings and the Kings jumped into the #2 (the Luka draft).

You could say it's the 3rd time because the Bulls lost the coin toss in 1979 and the chance to get Magic Johnson.

Wow…. I mean, after the Pelicans got Zion after trading Davs to the Lakers…. it smelled so bad, but there was some semblance of plausible deniability. But again, with Dallas? Not plausible.

Yeah, the NBA is a fraudulent enterprise, at least re the draft lotto.

Plus, the only person who can keep a secret is a dead man. It would leak so quick if it was rigged.

Imagine being a team like the Hornets and tanking for the better part of the last 10 years and having no #1 pick to show for it.

I really don't blame any GM for not wanting to put themselves through several years of the draft lottery for team building. A few teams get lucky and most teams don't.

This is why we don't tank. When we should it legitimately doesn't matter.

I don't think the NBA lottery is rigged though this result is highly suspect. But if it is, then Bulls fans probably have the least right to whine about it. 1.7% chance to draft the Chicago kid with generational talent, anyone?
