A 9th pick with Masai is a top 5 pick with any other team. We will get some body really solid.

They literally don't make mistakes with any of their top picks.

I was joking earlier in the year that if the Mavs won the first pick, I may change my opinion that the draft is actually rigged.

I know the Mavs still had a small chance, but just seems way too coincidental after trading Luka to LA.

Utah at #5 trading up to #2 makes some sense, though not sure what they have that the Spurs want.

Spurs - Cam Johnson + #4
Charlotte - #8, #14
Brooklyn #2 + Harrison Barnes

Spurs move down 2 spots and get Cam Johnson, presumably draft Edgecombe or Bailey?
Charlotte moves down from Bailey or Edgecombe but gets two lottery picks, so they can draft a center to pair with/replace Mark Williams and hopefully a starting wing.
Brooklyn gets Harper to be their lead guard.

Keep in mind the Pelicans also moved up to #1 after giving AD to the Lakers in 2019. The league seems content to just give the #1 pick to any team that benefits the Lakers.

On the positive side...I am looking for one...only Philly really got better that impacts the Raps.
