For the record, I think Malauch might be on the board at 9 but I cannot emphasize enough how royally this outcome f*cked things up for that outcome. Queen is probably still on the board but he has issues defensively, KJ might be there but the backcourt isn't the issue you need to address right now, Asa Newell could be in play but he's very much a one-way player (Which to be fair, the same could be said for Derik but he has the benefit of serving as a backup center in a pinch) and i'm just not feeling Carter Bryant.

MIL- Harper (Spurs trade this pick & others to get Giannis)
PHI - Bailey
CHA - VJ
UT - Tre
WAS - Maluach (they fell in love with Bilal & Sarr's measurables etc, we've heard teams wanna trade up for KM, I think they take him)
NOP - Fears
BKN - Queen
TOR - Bryant * in Raptors' fashion, have to be bit of a "shock" in the draft, "OG" 2.0 the upgrade
HOU - Kon

I don't Think Maluach will be there at 9....I think it will be between Kon/Fears/Queen In terms of BPA at 9....Most likely Kon will drop to 9....But could see Masai going off board at 9 but i think if Fears/Queen are available we are taking them and running.

Would've been happy with those 8 guys. so it sucks we dropped to 9.

Will be content w/ Queen, Kon, CMB - but none of these guys have high ceilings.

it's not that much of a disaster. the top 2 guys were the prize and it's a bunch of similar players in that 3-12 range.

disappointment of course that they didn't get a franchise changing guy, but there's gonna be a good player on the board at 9. we didn't watch hours of NCAA ball all year just to go thinking that there's only 8 decent players in the draft now

I don’t think the Spurs will draft 2 rookies. Could see this pick being moved to the Bucks in a Giannis trade with 2/14/boatload of picks/Sochan and salary.

Getting Harper + another lottery pick along with a boatload of picks is a great way to kickstart a rebuild

if you're gonna make arguments like that, you have to explain the rationale of who's gonna take him higher and why. the wiz might do it as a complement to sarr but i think they'd take the local guy in queen if they were gonna go for a big. the jazz and pels don't need a big. the hornets don't either. and he's not going top 3. the nets have claxton and sharpe as their C duo already

All along I've thought that, after Flagg and Harper, the next tier is flat until about pick 10, so I don't think there's much of a difference between picks 3 and 9. I expect Masai to find a good piece.

Lol Giannis would have to legit demand to just come to Raptors for that to happen ....So many teams have way more assets than us and im sure he ends up on a team he hand picks.
