Not necessarily, no. It took five years, for example, for the fact that US and German intelligence services had concluded that COVID was due to a lab leak. And that is a much larger pool of individuals to leak than the handful involved in the NBA lottery.

You people can wear your tinfoil hats and go outside in some thunderstorms. Apparently you're clueless about odds and the actual lottery games.

For me, I'm ready to sit at #12 but I want to evaluate the the teams at 5 to 10 and wonder if there is anyone who could consider moving down to to #12 and finds some combination of Vucevic, Ayo, Coby, Carter or others that they like to off load one large or two medium contracts in order to change both rosters. It's not very likely but there's nothing but time to rearrange the magnets on the big board

Even if we had won the coin flip it wouldn't have mattered. Bulls ping pong logo weighs more than Mavs ping pong logo. Obviously.

The Doncic trade didn't make any sense. Predictable outcome

Surely the Spurs are trading the no. 2 pick, they won't pick Dylan Harper with Castle and Fox already in the backcourt.

The Hornets probably going to luck into VJ to pair with LaMelo in their backcourt, Utah got completely screwed over (good). Philly will probably take Ace as PG13 insurance and to take over after he's gone.

Crazy lottery results.

F Utah. Enjoy Lauri!

I'll be curious to see what Ainge does going forward. Build with Lauri? Or trade him? If they continue tanking then it doesn't make sense to keep him.

I'm sure they're disappointed that they dropped in the draft, but they can still get a good player. Most mocks say that the top five will be: Flagg, Harper, Ace, VJ and Tre.

They could have a three guard rotation. Castle and Harper can both play either guard spot.

If they trade him...for what? Part of a Giannis offer?

Spurs probably offer #2 to MIL for Giannis, TBH.

It does at least feel good that Utah got effed with the absolutely blatant tanking they were engaging in this season

Yeah but if teams are being awarded for losing their star, where is our make up for losing Rose in his prime?

Maybe they trade back? I just don't see them drafting and keeping Dylan Harper unless they go outside the box and grab someone like Ace?

If I am the Spurs I am shipping out Fox. idk if it is anytime soon but with Castle/Wemby only being in their 2nd and 3rd years I am cool with Harper over Fox. You have 3 building blocks all drafted after one another. Plus they have another pick in the lotto.

No, they'll be "capturing the Flagg" in June, after they win the lottery tonight. :usa:

Bulls has had no luck in the lottery since Rose. So I am not surprised that NBA continues crap on the Bulls.

Bulls are on the road to nowhere with no end in sight.

Hope that 1 game W was worth it!

It's frustrating that AK never does anything to better our draft odds.

They fight for every win and still don't make the playoffs for three seasons in a row.

The fact that it exist at all is ridiculous its only purpose is to get players where the nba wants them ... otherwise like the nfl just let the worst teams get the best players ... or or here's a novel idea make it a free market and cap the salary and let the teams negotiate with players directly and get rid of the draft.
