Yeah I think the talent in the lotto outside of Flagg is pretty flat. I would bet on a redraft looking way different. The top 5 picks outside of Flagg have bust potential much higher than you would like for a top pick.

No the Luka to Lakers was 100% ochestrated. I'm a casual NBA fan now at this stage of my life and even I knew how lopsided that trade was.

It made no sense anyway you spin it other than the NBA wanted a Golden Boy on their Golden franchise.

This though, I didn't think Adam Silver had it in him. This was more rigged than an election in a dictatorship country.

Putin or Xi Jinping wouldn't pull this ****.

The only hope for the only team in Canada was always going to be through the draft or a Canadian star player deciding to come home.

Now its just free agency and hoping Shai joins. Beyond that the Raptors have 0 hope for the next decade.

I remember you my brother, nice seeing you again.

Its fun being a casual fan. Less stressfull that way.

The blatant ref rigging got to me plus the way the game evolutionized. It just wasn't in me no more to watch anything besides playoffs basketball.

And now with what happened today plus the Luka trade I'm 100% convinced I won't ever be back full time as a fan unless Shai or some future Canadian star signs with the team, or we get lucky with good drafting but that's all it will ever be, a crap shoot.

Nobody ever though Jokic would be what he would be. So there is always hope in the draft.

We should have traded Siakam or OG to the Lakers. That might have bought us a top-4 pick.
