Their defense isn't better per se. The refs are letting so much go on the Knicks' offensive end, Towns is getting mauled every drive and they refuse to call a whistle for him ever. Then the other way Boston is getting every ticky-tack foul, the draft lottery is just the icing on the cake for how rigged this league is.
